I know there are plenty of threads discussing a possible Booker to Rockets trade but I'm curious what others think Booker's Value around the league is. Assuming the PHX pick isn't top 4, the Rockets could probably get Booker for FVV/25/27/29 pick. If Booker is going to a third team what do you think the Rockets could get back?
Zero Suns say they are t letting Booker go anywhere. They will let Beal and Durant go.....but not Booker
He’s all offense and no defense. At least according to Win share metrics. He has a 6.1 WS on offense and like a .3 WS on defense; I know my numbers are a bit dated, but they are pretty close. For his career his OWS is 38 vs DWS of 13 and a total career WS of 51.
Hard Pass Booker shrinks in the biggest moments. His whole on court role for this team would be that he be a bucket getter during the playoffs or clutch time, but he has never shown to consistently be that guy.
Let someone else pay him. He isn't worth the contract much less the assets it will cost to acquire him. Team Green 2026
Oh I see you saying being the 3rd team to allow Booker to go elsewhere. Like what the Rockets did for the Nets so they could move on from Bridges. I don't see many 3rd teams in that kind position to make that trade with an elite player on the table. Mostly because they would want to be adding Booker to their guys. Maybe Memphis, Denver, Milwaukee would consider that, but I don't see a star on those teams that fit with the Rockets construct. The Knicks or Cavs could consider that kind of trade if they flame out in the playoffs and want to shake something up, but I don't know who from either squad moves the needle for the Rockets other than Mitchell who is probably save.
So if the Rockets could get Jokic in a 3 team deal where Booker goes to the Nuggets you are passing that up?
