I just bought it about 12 minutes ago at best buy. It's not as good as the first two (yet) but better than green album. MUCH better. Though it seems like they can't decide if they're a pop band or a Pinkerton band. You gotta give these guys their props though, none of their albums sound the same. Lets hope they do a new age rap album next.

    The GREEN is their best...

    Did You Know? ...

Rolling Stone Magazine voted "Pinkerton" the Worst Album of 1996.

I like it, but so far not as much as the Green Album. Of course it took me about a month to fully appreciate the Green Album, so maybe the same thing will happen with this one...but I doubt it. Right now I say:

    1. Blue Album
    2. Green Album
    3. Pinkerton
    4. Maldroit

I got the new Moby, which was disappointing on first listen. And I also got The Hives, who are a Swedish punk band that ROCKS! If you like the White Stripes you should give The Hives a listen.

I've been meaning to pickup that Hives album...it's on my list. Those Swedes know how to rock...the Hellacopters tear it up too.

    Shut up.

You can buy it yourself. It's only $11.99. Would you call it a tasty deal, drunk monkey?

...not to be Billy Bob Negative...
but i listened to the rest of this album again today.
and the whole thing is garbage. all of it.
slob is the only decent song.
i dont understand how i have all these great great unreleased weezer songs on my computer, but when i go out and buy their albums they are awful.
i like weezer because of their guitar rifts in "the sweater song", and "say it aint so". i know its a lot to ask to expect them to come up with more songs that good, but this just isnt even close. rock is dead.

Weezer bassist’s wife shot by L.A. police, booked for attempted murder

An already bizarre story involving a crash on a Los Angeles freeway, a manhunt, the arrest of a man in his underwear and a police shooting of an uninvolved woman has now taken an even more surreal twist.

Jillian Shriner, 51, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was the “uninvolved” woman shot by police and now faces charges of attempted murder, according to an LAPD news release.
