If America 10 years prior to this **** show decided to go all China and do a command economy to strip private assets and rebuild manufacturing infrastructure at a mass scale which can only be done through a command economy so now we have an actual manufacturing industrial base that can compete with Chinese manufacturing and then Trump did these tariff wars.... I'd be all for it. I'd be defending him. But we didn't do that and now we are going to pray the invisible hand will in its good will create this daunting task of a manufacturing industrial base out of thin air.

When you go to the grocery store to buy a steak, both you and the store benefit - you get the steak you want, and the store earns a profit. In international trade, both sides often gain. Mutual benefit is not only possible; it's the goal. There doesn’t have to be a loser. And pursuing mutual destruction? That’s just madness....

People don't become vaccine experts overnight. They either hear grifters and believe the grifters are experts or they believe and repeat scientific consensus.
