This is more than Espada. Bad bullpen.

bullpen meltdowns are always a gut punch. Erased Hunter Brown's brilliance and the offense getting going a little.

The logic for leaving Contreras in for that 2nd inning evades me. The guy has sucked, was coming off a chaotic couple of days of being sent down and back up, and had already thrown an inning, plus VanWey, Okert, and Abreu were all available. What the actual ****.

Espada trying to preserve bullpen arms but ending up using the best relievers in the same game anyway because you blew it. Happened dozens and dozens times last season. He never learns. We have an off day tomorrow dumbass. Go for the kill and series win. Good god.

not even 15 games in .

    Not a good sign.

I knew the guy was in over his head with how he was giving speeches in spring training. How did he even make it to bench coach ?

Espada should be yelling at the ump right now but he has no backbone.

If we lose - Joe Espada won’t get blamed, but he does not have a feel for the game at all. Completely mismanages his roster. He’s so in over his head

You don't leave an historically bad reliever in the game and Joe's done it twice in 2 days
