Eh , Smith I don't mind a day off every now and then.

He can learn a lot just by being in the dugout and observing . Plus an extra day of reps tweaking something can help to lock it in .

Jake and Rodgers have been our 2 hottest hitters outside of altuve , but chas has also looked ok and he's a better defender than Smith .

I don't mind altuve in left as much as I thought I would. He's best at 2nd , but rodgers is an actual plus there . Altuve may get better as the year goes on . His arm is getting better from all dat long toss.

Can Rogers play LF ?

Something like 2 LF , 2 2b , 1 Dh works perfectly for altuve . If you play 6 games you'd want to rest him dh .

Can yordan spot him some DH reps ? yordan is not a bad LF , I do think his running looks a little stiff this year .as you can tell I was getting worried about yordan . But I saw him make some good hard contact recently .

 

I agree but his timing is just way off right now. Once he starts barrelling the ball, he will be fine.

Maybe. But if or when Meyers goes back to being himself, I doubt Chas is who Joe turns to. Just my take.
