Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention and providing statistics to back up your premise that we have a black violence issue. I used your position as a starting point and looked at the numbers deeper and concluded that it isn't that we have a black violence problem - no - we have a serious problem with males in out society. Males are out of control - males are responsible for over 90% of murders, even though they are 49% of the population. Further, males are responsible for over 80% of violent crimes - over 85% of rapes and also have killed on a scale that FAR exceeds their proportion of the population. At this point males cannot be trusted, and we need to install women into all decision-making positions of power, and we need to root out the toxic masculinity that leads to these issues.

That was the Duluth lynchings back in like 1919 or 1920. They were accused of raping a white teenage girl at the circus. These three young men were arrested - the father of the girl lead a mob of several thousand white men to the jail, where they overpowered the jailers and beat the men to death and hung their bodies in the center of town to show "justice". The South is often labeled as the home of lynchings - but between 1910 and 1930 - a lot of these lynchings took place when the black workers migrated out of the South and into the North and Mid-West. These little towns, like Duluth at the time, were very white and were very anti-immigrant and anti-African American. The poorer whites did not like that their jobs paid less with competition from black Americans from the South and also immigrants. In Chicago - in 1919 there was a full out race war between whites and blacks, with a lot of deaths - it took the national guard to settle it down. Then it started up again in the 1960's in Chicago again. After the 1960's the whites figured out that if they just forced all the black people to live together, away from white people - and in poverty, that the violence was more often black on black and it was a convenient way to control black people. Honestly - most of those killed in vigilante town type lynchings were probably guilty - there have been investigations done after the fact. Not all of the lynchings were black either - immigrants and whites were lynched too, but most were black-- and it shows the level of disdain and hatred that existed in the USA, and the world. We still have lots of problems when it comes to how black people, poor people and immigrants are treated -- but even 100 years ago, I don't think people realize how incredibly bigoted the USA was and also how little actual control the local governments had. People were barbaric, they sold photos and post cards of those lynched, they kept body parts as souvenirs. There is a thin veneer between us and them - and returning to that world again.
There is just as much racism in liberal strongholds like New York as there is in the deep South, in my experience. Much like the black guy here that killed the white woman, racists also often have mental issues. It's a disease of the mind.

The kids of black Americans in the 1% commit the same amount of crime as kids of poor whites making under $35k a year. Poor Asians commit little to no violent crime.
