Its about Matchups tho and they always play us tough. We can’t guard Naz Reid for some reason and Antman seems to always get on a hot streak against us. MIN one of the most dangerous team out there right now for us

There would be no fairness in a series between the Rockets and Lakers. The Lakers would be allowed to not just reach but reach and hack and crash all series. They would still shoot 15 more free throws a game.

The league knows that every series the Lakers advance gives them an additional 2 million viewers. They will do everything possible to drag the Lakers into the Finals.

I don't expect the Rockets to win the title but I'd like to win our first round series. That would conclude a really amazing season.

The clippers, nothing would satisfy me more than knocking frauden out of the playoffs. Also I doubt kawhi stays healthy the whole playoffs/series

Alright well now that you factor in the league and refs sure odds are against us. I was just speaking talent wise we can beat them no doubt about that

They also haven't seen the double big lineup. I think we can neutralize them with Adams's and sengun.

I don’t think the nba is rigged…. But if it was I would think lakers are 3 seed playing the clippers, golden state is the 4 seed playing Memphis (becoming rivals playing each other in the playoffs recently. We get Minnesota with the youth battle and then nuggets vs okc (best player vs best team, mvp battle). Or we play clippers to set up la battle in the second round.

I would want Memphis right now, if I had my choice, I think amen can handle ja and they are probably weaker after firing their coach. Idk about clippers, I have to see amen guard kawhi but I would rather a good defensive team than a good offensive team. If it comes down to who makes more shots we are cooked.

There are no easy teams in the west.

It seems we will play Warriors.

    The worst selection.

Bring those effers on. We need to exercise our demons that the Harden teams couldn’t.

there is no easy matchup in the west and nothing would say “the Rockets are back” like seeing Donkey and Steph go home bc of the new age Rockets

So assumning a MIN win over Utah, GS or LAC will be the #7 seed and host MEM in the playin.

I want the Clippers in #7, keep me far far away from GS.

Because, I’m also quoting Hardwood Paroxysm’s post, which is the likely outcome.

Oops, yea, forgot to mention that part... I'm guessing that the starters will play the first half only, so I think DEN wins.

Also left out the tiebreaker details.

Tiebreakers would be winning % in head to head matchups for GS/MIN/LAC.
    MIN (4-3)
    GS (4-4)
    LAC (3-4)

GS owns heads up tiebreaker over MEM.

Winner on Sunday gets the Lakers. Loser can possibly get Houston

Would either team possibly lose on purpose Sunday to try to match up with Houston? Risking to face OKC but is the risk worth it?

If I'm coaching, yes it's worth the risk since you have to assume you have to play OKC anyways but if you end up with Houston then you pretty much face who everyone wants to face

    Regardless, Rockets in 5

If Clippers win they will get either Denver or Minny depending on our game against Denver.
