This isn't going to get any attention or acknowledgment by the national media but when the Lakers clinch the #3 seed they it will be all over it.
Nobody could have predict that we made the 2nd seed. It's a wonderful day for us. On a sidenote, I watched the OKC vs LAL game. The refs ejected Luka when OKC was about running away with the W. Lakers needed to make 40+ percent on 3s on a high volume to keep up with OKC and 50+ percent to win, it's unlikely to maintain that type of production in a 7 game series. Anyway, Tony Brothers never disappointed me in terms of bad officiating.
All the real stupid losses we've had this season....opening game vs the Hornets, meltdown vs the Nets, the other loss to the Nets, Timberwolves meltdown x2, blowing 2 close games against the Grizzlies and Knicks back to back, the Jazz loss, getting swept by the Kings, etc. all ended up not mattering because their was no way we were going to catch OKC anyway.......
The Lakers also shot 17 more free throws than the Thunder despite driving less to the rim. Laker fans are moaning about the ejection but the refs did everything else possible to gift the game to LA. I'm grateful that we won't be playing the Lakers in the first round. The officiating bias is really frustrating to watch.
Fire Stone! Fire Ime! Trade Jalen while he still has some value! Trade Jabari for a Coke and two hot dogs... Time to have fun with the idiots who don't understand anything about this sport!
one of the youngest teams in the league..keep the vibe going. obviously don't run them to the ground.
Nothing short of incredible. Props to the amazing group of coachable, hard working, tough minded players. Props to Ime. Can’t say it enough; props to Ime and an amazing coaching staff. And props to the front office for drafting great talent, adding some solid veterans, and hiring great coaching to move past mistakes and pivot to a winning culture. The league hasn’t seen a turnaround quite like this.
