    Don't hate on this just because it's Netflix. Keep reading....

    This just popped up on my radar. If you've never seen The Raid 1 & 2, you are missing what is possibly the best two martial arts movies ever. Same director.

    The story is set after a drug deal gone wrong, when a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.​

    Holy ****, I’ve been waiting for Gareth evans to do another kind of these movies. I’m definitely getting Netflix just for this.

    He reportedly signed an exclusive deal with Netflix to make movies, too.

    Just saw it on Netflix, absolutely great action movie. I'll literally watch any action movie or show Gareth Evans is involved with, it helps that he is working with the best cast of actors he has ever worked with on this one.

    a better Christmas movie than John Woo’s Silent Night that’s for sure. Also *** Netflix not having this on the big screen is a huge disservice for the sound system alone

    I was thinking the same thing! This is a Christmas movie, it ticks all the boxes (Christmas music, Christmas presents, Christmas trees, snow, Santa, etc.). Not having this at the movies was criminal, would have watched. Still, great movie!

    After just watching this, I guess not. It was a runaway freight train of action. Wow!

    Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whitaker were very good in support roles.

    After Havoc, the next obvious step was watching the first 5 episodes of MobLand.

    It's the perfect, episodic Tom Hardy follow up to Havoc.
