We ended up with the right guy...not only a culture setter, but a winner. This guy has given us an identity and I love it.

I know there are concerns*, but I have complete faith in him.

*Player development, rotations, and offense ( which COULD be addressed by an assistant)

Best coach in the NBA. If we don't win the chip this year then he should get fired.

Indeed. But like everywhere, there is a segment of fans who will refuse to give Ime full credit for what he has done with this team.

    Nattering old ladies.

With the new trend the NBA is setting, if he is down 3 games at any point in the playoffs, just fire his ass.

My one and only concern is with offensive tactics which can be fixed with the right assistant. Otherwise great job overall!

    The HC of the Nuggets?

    Maybe you meant Mike Brown?

Holy sh*t I'm just reading this now. What the heck is going on with Malone and Jenkins late season dismissals?

Yeah of course would be an amazing assistant but surely he'll get a HC job somewhere.

    I didn't know. My god.

But also MY GOD that's great for the Rockets. Introduce some turmoil to the Nuggets - whom I believed to be a top 2 threat in the playoffs.

for those amungus who qualify as ImeHatahs, and why would anyone identify thereof, you should root root root for a championship:

4 of the last 6 NBA championship coaches have been fired. One (Vogel) has been fired twice 2019: Nick Nurse fired 2020: Frank Vogel fired 2021: Mike Budenholzer fired 2022: Steve Kerr still there 2023: Michael Malone fired 2024: Joe Mazulla still there.

The offense will be in the Top 10 tonight. Since Amen has been a starter and Amen and FVV have been healthy, the Rockets have had a top-5ish offense without an offensive engine.

I fully expect a championship this year, will be very upset if they don't... It may be drastic to fire Ime if we don't win a chip but it must be done so that the next guy understands how crucial it is for him to win one soon...

They should consider pre-emptively putting him on a Performance Improvement Plan for all his deficiencies.

Sorta like all the folks bashing FVV immediately following two of the biggest wins of the season apparently because he didn't play a bigger part in both wins.

Udoka, take heed. Even if you win, you must win in a certain way to avoid the flogging! Winning alone isn't enough!

Ime coaches like he's the 6th starter. I have never seen another coach go at active players, looool

you really need that kind of mentality to shake up these legacy teams.

Ime would have been wasted on the celtics.

Best coach the Rockets have had since Rudy.

He would have eaten the Warriors for dinner in 2018.

Ime's respect from the players comes from him holding everyone accountable to the same degree. Guy is a truth teller.
