Its crazy you gonna burn down the team for 2 years of contention lol. NVM that Sengun and Jalen will only be 25 by then lets go all in like Morey always does and we end up with a mod team after a couple of years.

After seeing what this team will be either in the playoffs or next season, I'm not too sure anymore about ol' KD.

Brooks is an imperfect option? Dude is on a bargain contract for his production.

FVV and Brooks combined make up the salary of Harden or KD. How are you gonna fit Sengun, Jalen Amen etc. if you are already paying 60% of the cap on two guys? Ok we will just have a salary bigger than Celtics by now and Fertita is gonna be willing pay 500M luxury tax?

Posts like these make zero sense.

Getting KD at this point reminds me of ol Nico Harris trading Luka for AD. You just get older for no reason and also save the Suns from the mess they are in. I know KD is good but with only 2 good years left, it seems dumb to sell off on the 15 yr window of our young core for a 2 yr window of having KD.

Way to shoot ourselves in the foot, twice!

not really. Getting AD made Mavs better in the short term on paper too bad they lost the bet on health.

KD is a huge ass injury risk and at his age he isnt durable anymore. Remember when Amen twisted his ankle he could have returned after a week but when KD twisted his ankle he is gone for the season.

I don't know what their new contracts will look like but FVV has made 7 million per year more than harden the last two years.

Your post is an enigma. I know you are talking trade price. But it sure the hell is not a bargain price to have a top 5 paid player in the nba in the bench. Cmon now

AD absolutely did -not- make them better short term on paper. Luka is a top five player, period. What happened was that an ******* executive soured on a person for personality conflict issues and then convinced himself that trading for AD would be a good swap.

    So is AD when healthy.

AD put up 25/11/3 on 60% TS before he got traded. The main issue is Luka is 25 and a lot more healthy and AD is 32 and is Mr Glass.

    Remarkable. 20-20 hindsight; 20-26 foresight.

But, answer these non-Rox visionary queries: did you have the insight to see the slights brought down upon Mssrs Jenkins and/or Malone?

Yep, definitely cheap. Though he would probably start he wouldn't need to play more than 20-25 minutes a game. Keep him fresh for the playoffs.

That said, I do like being able to play Amen, Brooks, and Tari for D and will be happy riding on internal improvement for at least one more year.

I wouldn't give up a single rotational player. If we can do it with the likes of Jock, Tate and Cam without any picks whatsoever, fine that's great.

He is just too old at this point.
