    Uzan was disappointing.

Sharp played valiantly but lost the ball back to back the last two possessions.

Oh well. It's not as bad as NC State where we were the favorite to win.

I can't ever pull the trigger on games I really care about, but the O/U of 141 looked really good tonight.

I had UH beating FL in my bracket, would have won a couple hundred bucks, but whatever

I'm glad I have a few beers left to help me amp-down

WhiskeyTango Gainesville Folk were singing along with the lights out and their lighters up?

I was 14 watching with my old man (RIP 2016) It’s still one of the single most shocking, bewildering and disappointing sports moment in my life.

I’m not sure what the word is (apathetic, jaded) I’m looking for but as soon as the game ended tonight I went about my business and proceeded to watch a line drive hit Abreu and avoid Pena allowing Seattle to come back and beat the Stros. Unlike my old man I’ve removed emotion once it’s over if we lose. Life’s better that way.

Man, I literally left the room. I couldn’t watch us lose like that.. then my wife yelled FŨcčķ … I just ran in and turned the TV off immediately. Lol. Here I am reading the damn comments on CF.

Fuçkin Stros look like dogshït. Let’s go Rockets! What this site is all about!

I lose a lot of bets. I guess it's superstition, but if I really care about a game I'll bet in favor of the team I want to lose in hopes that my bad mojo rubs off on them. Didn't work tonight, but I sure as hell tried.

Exactly -- plus Cryer going 6-18 FG, and Roberts' 3-13 was also a complete dumpster f***

Too many posters complaining about the goaltend hurt --- that's only 2 points that happened in the first half.

Credit to Florida's defense. However, we missed too many makeable shots.

Games I care about I just can't do. Either my brain, gut, or heart always makes me second guess

I have an early flight in baltimore tomorrow morning, so I did the unthinkable... I turned off my phone, drugged myself and went to bed thinking there was no way I would be able to sleep if I watched the game.

Somehow my body fought off the drugs and I woke up at 1AM, snuck downstairs, and just watched the replay.

Pain. Hurts of course, but when you have so much scar tissue it kinda becomes whatever.

At least this was not decided by the refs. Florida won it with their 2nd half defense, we lost it with dogshit shooting. GG.

I have no doubt that UH will be back in more final fours, but letting another championship slip away is just hard to swallow no matter how you slice it.

I’m not a basketball savant by any stretch of the imagination, but WTF was that Houston offense in the 2nd half? They had to work so hard for every single basket. And nobody could shoot it. It’s like all energy was spent on kicking Duke’s ass. Florida deserved to win as Houston got away with a lot of physicality in the 1st half, they just didn’t accept in the 2nd.

Thought the one of the inbound where Houston almost stole it where they called a foul, FTs for Florida, and took back the lead was a weak one though. Both went for the ball, Florida guy had it, so play on. And of course the big flop where Cryer gave a slight nudge was atrocious. Defense was great, cannot deny that. Not really choke city, but yeah, this was kind of a choke given those last 2-3 possessions. Couldn’t get anything easy.

Heartbreaking loss. Bright lights/moment seemed to really impact shooting, especially in the first half where defense and grit kept them in it. Was a fun ride and it felt like the team who played better lost (shades of the Duke game). Respect to those boys…they gave it their all.
