Behold the bewildering advanced stats on Amen vs the Warriors (4-6-25).

The Curry shutdown was a team effort, but Amen shined in every individual matchup. It's hard to imagine any second-year player doing better.

The only guy with a point against Amen was Looney (because of 1 shooting foul, 1-2 at the line).

• Everyone else with goose eggs.
• 5 TO caused and 0-9 from the field.
• The box score plus/minus stats had him at +26, but when you add up the aggregate team scoring, Amen and company outscored the Warriors 84 to 53 (+31) while he was on the court.

A huge difference between Butler and Wiggins is Wiggins used to punish our guards on the block. Not having to worry about those postups was a huge benefit. Butler can do it too but he just doesn’t

 

Did anyone think during the game Butler wasn't very aggressive last night?

Of offense, he's a perfect compliment to Curry, but if he doesn't attack and take advantage of single coverage in the lane, the Warriors are not a scary team.

I watched (mostly listened) to the Golden State broadcast in the early morning because of @Roomba ’s post about all the salt. There was plenty of salty announcing but they actually took the rules side immediately after Goon’s jaw went up up up and away and said it was a foul. Next thing you know, they’re spinning Draymond’s way like he’s one of those angelic good guys that could never.

So weird how people can talk themselves into thinking the opposite way of how they started their thinking. I’m talking to you folks that voted Trump/Vance after the orange one literally talked his constituents into the idea of “hang Mike Pence”. Lunacy.

God watching back the game with Warriors commentators was just pure pleasure. You can hear the butthurt and seething bitterness in their voices. It was slow motion torture for them and I enjoyed every second of it.

 

Missed the big game last night, but watched countless highlights. Just like the big win against OKC, it's obvious that when our players are locked in and focused, they can't be beaten. Ime is doing a great job with this talented group.
