Green is our most talented natural scorer. I don't see Amen turning into a 26 PPG guy nor do I see it out of Sengun. It's weird because usually the best scorer is the #1 option but that really isnt the case with the Rockets. Sengun and Amen (when he truly reaches his peak form) will ultimately be better at bucket getting in tight spots or to bend a defense. Jalen will be the beneficiary to that so long as he continues to make buckets consistently. He is also capable in his own right and if hes the 3rd thing you have to worry about.....thats rough buddy.

You are trying to move goal posts down low huh?

Notice the framing of your word choice being watered down post to post. First rs "Jalen is being groomed to be a complimentary piece to Amen and Alpi"

You even say Jalen brings the ball up to allow Amen to operate which hardly ever happens because when Jalen brings the ball up often than not Amen is used as a screener or in the dunker spot or three point line waiting for the right moment to cut to the rim.

You are moving goal posts now to avoid just admitting your initial claim was wrong.

@Houston77 do you agree with this?
Because if you do then you are speaking from two ends and not being consistent.

Is Amen better at bending defenses than Green?

No, you're just lying about what I said. Or you're insane. Either option is on the table.

Completely agree. On a different team, I could see Green developing into a 27 - 28 ppg guy. I just don't think that's possible on this team - there are too many mouths to feed. I'm guessing Green ends up averaging around 24 - 25 ppg, Sengun 21 - 22, and Amen 17 - 20, though Amen's ceiling as a scorer is really hard to figure out.

So you agree with him that Green's role eventually will be to play off Amen because according to him he's better at bending defenses?

So you are stating Green is being groomed to be a complimentary role to Amen even though the season trajectory is the complete opposite?

    I'm lying huh?

You literally said "I 100% agree" to a reply that said Green eventually will play off Amen as he's better at bending defenses.

For the sake of ending this argument and saving us a couple pages, this is where Houston77 said that Amen is not even quite there to be mentioned as a complementary piece because of his offensive limitations—but he makes up for it with incredible defensive and all-around play.

He did not say that Jalen is a complementary piece to an Amen focused offense, and he did not imply it either. So can we please move on

Again, I'm not sure you know how to read, or interpret a post. His first sentence was that Green is our most natural scorer -- I 100% agree with that. I then went on to say that I think that Amen will average 17 - 20 ppg, but I really have no idea what his ceiling is as a scorer. How, given that, did you interpret that I think Green will eventually play off of Amen?

I don't know what Amen will develop into, but could I see him developing into a guy who bends defenses better than Green? Absolutely. I think he's ceiling is the highest of any player on the team. I just have no idea what that ceiling is.

Nope. He literally said 100% agree to someone saying Jalen eventually will be playing off Amen and Sengun as they are more gifted at "bending defenses".

So you disagree with this part?:
" Sengun and Amen (when he truly reaches his peak form) will ultimately be better at bucket getting in tight spots or to bend a defense. Jalen will be the beneficiary to that so long as he continues to make buckets consistently. He is also capable in his own right and if hes the 3rd thing you have to worry about.... thats rough buddy."

Do you really not know how to follow conversations? Are you that dense?

Person A: I think this, that, and the other.

Person B: I completely agree, but here's what I think differently about that and the other.

Conversationally speaking, it clear I'm saying that I agree with the initial point (in this case, Green being our most natural scorer), but not necessarily the other points (maybe Amen develops into someone who bends defenses, maybe he doesn't - I'm not sure).

Again, I'm done here. You're clearly unwell and need help I cannot provide.

Just to be clear you want me to gather this as your implication from me reading the quote below?

On the bright side, if we keep going at it, we can probably get this thread to 1000 pages as well. Which would be pretty cool. Not as cool as Jalen, but maybe a nice complementary thread for when he becomes an all star :p

Also if you want to insult me do it in the arena of basketball analysis. Say my analysis is **** or I'm a die hard fan girl for Jalen. Unless I'm making politically charged comments about entire ethnic groups or something don't judge me as a human.

I try my best to follow this guideline. If someone makes bad basketball claims are are adamant about it I'll stick to insults related to their basketball knowledge and not them as an entire human and their mental health state .

    Be better.

Now that almost everyone has agreed Jalen is a good player the Jalen fans are arguing amongst themselves whether Jalen is a complimentary 26 pt scorer or a main 26 pt scorer.

    Never change CF.
