Do you think I like her or Biden?????? No, I really am not big fans of them. BUT I can at least look at both objectively(Trump and Harris) and be like....yea this other guy is gonnna make it worse for all of us long term and short term.

 

The problem is HOW it is being done. Bill Cliton cut the Federal Gov't size, waste, and fraud with a SANE approach that worked with a Republican Congress. He balanced the budget and created a Surplus. The economy ROARED and the job creation was the best post WW2. This is INSANE. Trump doesn't want to wait, he wants immediate results so he can line up tax cuts for the Rich. Bill Clinton continue new taxes that George Bush had to go back on his "Read my lips" line to fix the economy. Guess what? The Rich made more money with the higher taxes. The RICH are GREEDY and want to make poor/middle class pay for the infrastructure that keeps the country running. Trump is an idiot. The pain he talks about is going to be felt by the people who can least afford it. Eventually, his Rich buddies are going to feel it too.

By the metric of being 38 trillion dollars in debt. I dont have to listen to anybody to know there's waste fraud and abuse. I mean people 120-130 years old supposedly are getting SS checks. Are you saying there's no waste, fraud and abuse in the federal govt?

I'm not worried about the economy because I've seen in the last 2 monthds companies that have invested in in building factories in this country. BMW/Nissan/Japanese chip makers just to name a few. I'm not worried about SS because Trump said he wasn't going to mess with SS other than to stop the waste, fraud and abuse. Why are you worried?

I have said it multiple times. She was clueless on absolutely everything. Policy is where I start. She has no relationships with anyone. Everyone hates her for a reason . I didn't make any choice. I chose not to vote because the candidates were terrible. Nobody worse than Harris though.

You sound like you have a bad case of class envy.

If you want to fix the perceived rich vs poor issues then the country should enact a flat or fair sales tax on anything anybody buys minus food/water etc... This way the rich would be forced to pay their fair share and everybody would have skin in the game. BTW, did you know that people making (Not clearing) $250,000 a year are having to pay something like 70% of the taxes. Is this fair? How much would the rich have to pay to make you happy?

As far as the DOGE cuts go, both the Dems and the GOP have had years to make these cuts and kicked the can down the road. The kicking of the can down the road has stopped and some dont like change. When the country is 38 trillion in debt the cuts should be quick and deep, it's the price that has to be paid for politicians on both sides of isle having the country living beyond our means.

They're running the country like a business and all I can say is it's about time.

the rich would LOVE a flat tax or “fair tax”. LOL. Someone that makes $1 million dollars pays the same 25% as someone who makes $30,000. Hmm. $22,500 vs $750,000. Which one could actually live well on the amount after taxes? And we know the rich wouldn’t actually pay 25% with their accountants find tax breaks and all. As for Doge, Trump is responsible for $8 Trillion of that debt from the last time he screwed the US. All of those “savings supposedly being found will be gone when he proposes the big tax cuts for the rich. The middle class taxpayers are about to be ****ed in the ass with no vaseline.

No they havent, you have no sources, those companies either didnt do it or they already announced these things WHEN BIDEN WAS PRESIDENT. DOGE has already cut jobs for Social Security and he's ****ing with call centers which is causing massive backlog for already overworked employees

If it was a national sales tax and no income tax the rich would have no choice but to pay more in taxes . The 8 trillion might have had a lot to do with shutting down the economy because China chose to put a plague on the world.

You're right the budget was balanced under Clinton because the House under Newt forced Clinton's hand and he reluctantly agreed kicking and screaming. You're also right that Bush screwed things up in many ways. Not just the budget.
