Good points, and I want to add to your comment about foul trouble neutralizing Chet’s help-side defense.

Even without foul trouble, if Chet is guarding Adams, he can’t help. Adams is taking prime rebounding position, and watch, no one leaves him, much less Chet. It’s like Adams makes it a 4x4 game, with one team having a 5th man in offensive rebounding position.

Adams is so valuable to this team. I wonder how much are we going to have to pay to keep him. He was on a relatively cheap contract.

I wouldn't be surprised if Reed goes HAM in the playoffs.

    2 years / $30M should do it. Must re-sign!

Anyway we can clone him? So he will continue to have the presence throughout the whole 48 minutes

He had 2 pts on 0/4 shooting. For the season he is only averaging 6.8 pts on league average efficiency. He is making the same salary as Brooks lol. He isnt a dpoy defender that is reserved for guys like Draymond, Amen and Dyson Daniels, guys who can defend multiple positions at an elite level. Caruso is a great defender but I dont see how he elevates himself from even his teammates Dort, JDub or Cason Wallace. They cant all be DPOY otherwise they wouldnt have been blown out.

If a dude like that is making 20M what about the other role players in OKC? Like Kenrich Williams, Andrew Wiggins or Cason Wallace? They would also want at least that much.

We can draft someone like him in the draft. Maluach or Sorber can be groomed to be Adams of the future.

There are reasons for that. Tate does almost everything better. Including shooting.

Tater haters gird your loins. Tate will probably get minutes in the playoffs. Deal with it.

They’re lucky we didn’t release our bombers Sheppard & McVeigh.

We stole their thunder, didn’t we. At least for an evening. The fans of the Thunder must be a bit flabbergasted.

With the Lakers likely losing to the Thunder Sunday afternoon, the Rockets can likely clinch the 2 seed with a win Sunday night.

Tate is quite possibly the most hated Rocket among the fan base of any player the Rockets play better with than without. He's not a great player, but being where he's suppose to be helps the better players play better.

I would be shocked if Reed plays a single minute in the playoffs.

If the Rockets get that kind of shooting and overall intensity, they can push OKC or anyone else. Good shots, lower turnover numbers, crashing the glass, an effective break, and we're scratching the surface.

Two or three weeks ago, play-in teams might have wanted to target Houston. Today, that looks like a dicey proposition.
