Of course he's full of ****. He's a slimy troll who needs to be called out. Dude called out the Biden admin every day and called them incompetent for inflation ( which every developed country dealt with post covid) while suddenly claiming putting tariffs on clothes from asia is a smart move.
I never claim onshoring was a bad idea. I have said for decades we need to bring back mfg. This is yet another example where you load up on childish insults while assuming someone's opinion.
Thank god Trump is not tariffing energy, food and cost of building housing. You are right pretty low nothing to worry about
Hey 47 says his Tariffs would help farmers but here we are again with another one of his lies backfiring on the people.
Pitchforks and torches aren't going to be enough.... Trump just walked into every American's living room, squatted and took a massive DUMP on your carpet. DD
The goal of these tariffs isn't to reduce unnecessary spending. That very likely will happen, and some may welcome it while others won't, but that's a separate issue. Economists have models predicting how prices and GDP will respond. I don't know the exact impact, but the trend is clear: prices will rise, spending will fall, and if this trade war continues, the damage will grow. It will hurt both the U.S. and global economies. Everyone will feel it, but the poor will be hit hardest. Those with wealth can absorb the shock. Most others can't.
You're full of ****. Go look in the Bidenomics thread where you downplayed the onshoring that happened under biden and you claimed inflation and prices were the real issue as you claimed democrats were "out of touch" for not caring about inflation. You're full of **** and it blows my mind people take you seriously
I don't have an issue with specific targeted industries - ones necessary for public defense - such as possibly specific medical equipment, or chips. However - this idea of large scaled manufacturing, I don't think it is ever coming back because of the simple cost of labor. I don't have an issue with target spending used to open up possible new industries - it is a big reason the USA has prospered in the computer age However, eventually - even in these markets, large parts will be farmed out for cheaper labor. I do not have any desire to be stuck long term subsidizing companies to keep their jobs in the USA - essentially paying the difference in the cost to the company for labor in the USA and over seas, that isn't sustainable long term. You are talking about smaller niche - and more target efforts for specific industries, many of which are very technical... that isn't what many Trump supporters and Trump aides are talking about. They are talking about large scaled returns of large industries to the USA and that isn't going to happen and if it does, it will cause severe economic issues. I would far rather spend government money and subsidies on the infrastructure - and childcare and other options than to try and force clothes manufacturing back to the USA for example.
Dude why do you lie so much. So much you twist yourself in a pretzel just to try and slime your way out of being a hypocrite. I expected a better troll job. Disappointed
Hes so full of **** that it blows my mind. For the past 4 years he trashed @adoo for being out of touch and not worrying about prices and inflation. Suddenly he's done a 180 and he thinks everyone has forgotten. He's such a slimy troll
That is what makes you a Democrat. Ask not what you can do for your country, but what can my country do for me? More handouts please!
"More handouts please" lol Republicans in the house just approved 4 trillion dollars of tax cuts primarily for the rich financed by tariffs on the middle class and this braindead loser has the audacity to talk about handouts. Its just funny how utterly stupid half the country truly is.
