We have guys who can shoot Holiday, Reed, Cam hell even Jeff Green and Jack Mcveigh.

Udoka still chose to play FVV 40 mins thats on both of them.

 

Besides shiit shooting, Fred always slows the pace.

The Lakers have old Lebron and fat Luka. They like slow offense alot.
Fred is helping the Lakers.

 

Correct. I truly don’t understand how he ended up with 40 minutes play time tonight, he was really weak. It’s like when the games are close and the Rockets can’t get a run, Ime holds on into Fred so the game won’t get messy. He plays it safe. But you have got to take risks from time to time. Ime thinks otherwise, and he is the coach you know? Who are to judge, just frustrated fans

 

All of the 12-13 Thunder player don't even get to crunch time and qualify, they put opponents away beforehand....

I am sure the Cavs players used to do that in their first 40 games as well.

 

I'm still steaming about the refs in this game.

Felt like we were really taking control in the 4th, then they ignored the massive foul on Tari on the break, but we luckily got the O-Board and he scored (probably should have been given an and 1)

Then they T'd him up for talking to his own bench, and then called an away from the play foul on Brooks on the following possession so the Lakers could restore their 5 point buffer.

We were never going to get past that type of shenanigans.

 

Good loss time to learn defensive adjustments.

 

Fred is shooting 37.9% this season.

Can anyone explain why we’ve stopped running plays through Sengun? I’m struggling to understand why we can’t capitalize on lakers doubling him. It seems to me that if we’re not going to utilize Sengun’s strengths, we’d be better off trading him while his value is at its peak this season.

We might benefit more from a rim protecting big like Dante.

I’m down for Reed to get valuable minutes too. What’s the ****ing point playing Fred all these minutes when he’s not productive? Reed is faster and has a quicker shot too. This would have been a fun game with Reed getting valuable minutes. And I agree, Holiday should have gotten some good burn as well.

 

We, "don't have legit stars"? Luka/LBJ went 11/28 from the field - hard pressed to convince anyone w/ any semblance of basketball knowledge they aren't legit stars.

Your post reads like biblical verses from the He-Man JALpi Haters Club. Jump to conclusions mat much? Was Sengun an all-time player after he dropped 45 on Wemby? How about Jalen 2 games ago - top 10 player? In your post you literally overwrite single game results with....single game results...and then magnify the single game results which fit your narrative.

My issue is it is pretty clear Fred wasnt getting it done. Udoka should have benched him tried Holiday or Reed or Cam. Hell even Jeenathan Williams would be ok.

Instead he just plays FVV 40 mins and shoot us out of the game. Udoka actually benched FVV a couple games ago and we won. Instead of learning from that he did the opposite.

 

It would be a fascinating experiment to see Dante take the floor in the playoffs in place of Sengun, because Ime loves positioning Sengun in the corner as a perimeter shooting threat.

I suggest they adjust to where 2 rando bench scrubs don't drop 40 points on 'em

 

Fred earns the same salary as Luka Doncic.

Against the Jazz. FVV "only" played 34 mins that game and got benched in the 4rth.

 

I'm going to look for the bright side and say that this is a good chance for Ime to learn to make adjustments and manage the rotation better before the playoffs. In a way, having these tough games to end the season may work in our favor.
