That would be hilarious. If I still lived in Houston, I’d try. Not sure you could get through the gates with them. I’ll put $100 in the tip jar for anyone that proves they did it.
They make it sound like the game was in Boston and he got booed. Any former Astro is going to get booed by 28 teams.
That reminds me: I better not hear anything but raucous ovation and the sound of people rising to their feet next he enters the Ice Box box. Well... First he enters the Ice Box box, technically. Whoever it was that said two boxes were better than one was on to something. It rolls off the tongue :}
Bregman's first at bat - I Agree. His second? Feel free to hurl as much (polite) vitriol as you wish. I suggest "your salsa tastes like ..."
Does everyone on this board think Bregmans salsa is truly nasty? I live in NY so I never tasted it. Need an honest review or two.
It's not "nasty", but I would consider it a low quality salsa, one I'd have never purchased more than once had he not been an Astro at the time.
I would actually agree. It isn't "nasty", but it is mediocre with fairly poor quality control (I have a buddy who used to put it out at parties, and sometimes it was watery, sometimes salty as heck). Realistically, it's probably in the vicinity of PACE (slightly higher or lower, YMMV). A pretty standard commercial salsa-like product. I only mentioned it, as it's a good enough middling thing to shout out
It's very low quality I only tried it because, well, it's Alex Fkn Bregman so it has to be good....but yea not so much He should have made his salsa more like his post all star break play, not his April and May play
How are the vibes in Beantown? 1-4 record, Devers is still hitless and Bregman went 1-5 today for a loss. I know Dever was pissed about having to be full time DH. Wonder if it's throwing him off at the plate.
Devers also has 15 ks in those 19 ABs. He'll come around as the season goes on, but he definitely looks like he's pouting a bit and not used to DHing. Imagine signing a guy for way more than he's worth only to piss off your franchise guy who's signed through 2033.
Yup, by end of the year he’ll be .265 OPS of ..785, 24 HR, 85 RBI’s, 75 BB….. He pounds on pitchers when they lose a bit of their zip after the Adrenalin to start the season bring in the grind of the season…. Breggy feast on the dog days of summer…
