please no collapse. please no meltdown. please no offensive droughts it's not as if the coogs offense is on fire either. coogs have only made 2 more 3s than Tennessee. crazy to say. Tennessee had some open looks too. they're just not making them. once they start to fall, it will be a closer game.
He’s been a non factor a few times, nice to see him contributing. I know his Achilles has been bothering him but he looks good today
I feel like that has a lot to do with how they play. The amount of energy they burn playing smothering defense is often why IMO they find themselves struggling late in games so often and why those leads tend to evaporate
Not really, Charles Barkley hates Houston because he thinks Les Alexander owes him money and they are always trying to make women's basketball a thing.
This year, we've all seen UH go cold in the 2nd half with big leads (and without them). It's like another team is on the court. Let's hope they continue the intensity, bring the killer instinct and don't let the moment get to them if Tennessee makes a run. If they don't turn the ball over and continue the intensity on defense, they will be fine regardless of how much better Tennessee plays. 6/28 and 1/15 won't continue. I don't think Tennessee was prepared for this game.
No idea why UofT doesn't press full court. Did they not see the Gonzaga tape? Or the tape from a few years ago when both Shead, Sasser, AND Grimes (i thiiiiink Sasser may have been hurt) were in the backcourt and the press still gave UH issues? You're not coming back from 17-20 down in a half on UH w/out forcing an anomalous amount turnovers and a full court press is their best shot. Just remarkable they aren't doing it after every make yet.
