Kawhi is probably a mystery, he looks the same since his rookie year, he might have gained 2-5 pounds since then.
In terms of strength maybe but Amen is a more naturally impressive athlete than Kawhi in any point of his career. Kawhi has the strength advantage. Amen is far more laterally shifty and has more vertical explosion by quite a bit. Amen has guard level quickness while Kawhi has wing level quickness. Part of why LeBron was a unicorn also. With his size entering the draft he had guar level agility and speed which for his size is near unprecedented.
Green named BREAKOUT Player of the Year by SI https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...BKAB6BAgGEAE&usg=AOvVaw3_UwYFZSCMxMpRsiVgnRk1
Nice little pat on the back for Green. From another article on SI: Jalen Green leads the Rockets in clutch points this season with 87 points and ranks 13th in the NBA. Another statistic that stands out is offensive rebounding. Alperen Sengun ranks sixth in clutch time offensive rebounding, which makes a difference because it gives the Rockets extra opportunities late in games.
I wasn't banned as far as I'm aware. I had a really bad accident a couple months ago so I've just been offline tbh. As above, I was in a really bad accident tbh, mostly just been offline recovering.
Thanks, I appreciate that. Been a long road back (I crashed whilst downhill longboarding) but slowly getting there.
There's actually very little ironically, trucks are always super super tight and my board has HUGE soft wheels that make it a fairly smooth ride. I came in too hot round a corner, fluffed my check slide (heel side) and then when I dropped to try and control it with the slide gloves my board snagged a little and flipped me. Not fun tbh.
Thanks, I really do appreciate it. It's definitely up there as one of the scariest moments I've had so far in 40 years of life haha. Weirdly it didn't hurt until after I got to hospital, it was basically fear then insane adrenaline until I got anaesthetised. Very close call, I could easily have not been alright in truth.
Is it bad that I'm just hoping that it won't have killed my confidence and I can get back out there? Haha
Do we know how they calculate that? I love seeing Jalen up there, just interested how they came up with the list.
NBA tracks player movement so probably some type of average distance of all five defenders on the court to a player. The smaller the average numbers the more gravity. That's why it's all ball handlers who attract a lot of attention rather than bigs like Jokic or Alpi. It matches the eye test in that Jalen Green is squeezing through tight crowded spaces inside the arc constantly. This has a lot to do with non shooters with large roles on this team sharing a large volume of minutes with him.
Oh that's interesting, I didn't think of that, definitely sounds a plausible method. Awesome seeing him up there with those names for sure, does make you wonder if he'd be putting up bigger numbers on a less stacked roster where he'd have to carry much more load.
it is how close the primary defender is when on and off ball. That’s also why it is all guards in the list because players that are less of a shooting threat are not guarded closely.
