Alpi was a franchise player tonight from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Please keep it coming.

Alpi looked okay for a Luis Scola wannabe

Yes, a player who has had thirteen 30/10 games at 22 is better than a player who had 6 for his entire career.

The Scola comp is so idiotic it's laughable, and I'm a Scola fan. Sengun at 22 is more impactful than Scola ever was, and Scola came into the league at 27. Who the hell knows what Sengun could be at 27.

The only thing Scola does much better than Alpi is that midrange jumper. Every time it left his hands you knew it was going in.

Thats about it though. If Scola was as good as Alpi is now we’d have an extra championship from 2008-2009.

Imagine the potential of 27 year old Alpi, having 5 more NBA years of experience to refine his game. He is not even his prime yet.

You know that Luis played with Yao Ming and Tmac, he was at best the third option, you can compare Luis to Alpi on their countries teams that makes more sense.

No one hates Alpi - everyone likes him.

We just don't whine like little babies when people have a different opinion.

You’re also comparing a guy who started in the league at 27 to a 22 year old. Yet you’re making every excuse in the world for Scola. Scola was great, and Sengun is better.

Yes, that is fair, but I am really not, I was a fan of Scola on Argentina and Madrid......

They are very similar in games, and Luis was a MONSTER when he was the featured player, just like Alpi.

It is not a knock, it is a compliment.....I will say that Luis never had to be benched for lack of hustle, like Alpi has though...Luis ran up and down the floor all game long, Alpi would be even better if he did
    the same.

Remind me — how often was Scola listed on MVP ladder lists?

Certainly Scola was top 10 at least once in his NBA career, right...oh wait...at least one all-star nod?...uhhhh....

Looks like as much as we love the ice cream man, he was just a poor man's Sengun at best.

I legitimately don't get why Mobley get so much love. He is a All-NBA defender sure, but that is it.
