Don’t want to diminish his play, but acting like people have never had a quadruple double or like this is some 30-20-20 like stat line is just unnecessary. Just say it’s the closest to a quadruple double with steals or something. But the only person ever with this statline means nothing. Btw as solid as DeRozan and LaVine are individually, the last few minutes in the 4th show why you don’t want these guys as your closers. In general the whole taking turns offense is boring and does not involve the team enough, but at the end it’s like watching a guy like Kevin Porter Jr. trying to be the hero. Twice DeRozan was too far to the right and thus shot it too far to the right. Then watching LaVine unable to back down or get around KPJ was also quite shocking.
As long as Philadelphia was trying to win, Toronto seemed okay with being bad, but not too bad. With Philadelphia now in a poor position and leaning into the Tank, Toronto now appears to have started leaning into the Tank themselves.
Who’s the halftime reporter in the pink jacket sitting with Isaiah Thomas and Channing Tatum during the Clippers vs. OKC game?
Not sure how I feel about this but it looks like Bucks fans are liking KPJ and think he could be their third option behind Giannis and Dame.
Chicago had 31 points off turnovers tonight and beat the Nuggets. Rockets had 0 against the Nuggets last night.
The Bulls also made their 3s which the Rockets couldn’t do. If only one Rocket player makes a few threes we win the game. I just don’t know if the Rockets can shoot consistently enough to beat a good team 4 times in the playoffs.
