The fact that a species (in the aggregate) is listed as "endangered" is one issue; the specific killing/culling of a distinct individual within that species is a separate issue. The individual animal Trump Jr. shot was not individually "endangered" but rather a specific problem animal targeted/selected within a legitimate and legally-sanctioned culling operation. anyway. fwiw

I’ve been thinking recently that Mark Cuban could be a serious dark horse in the 2028 Dem primaries if he decided to run…I can see people gravitating to the successful self-made billionaire sports team owner with a popular TV show who’s not a standard boring politician he also started a drug company in 2022 offering prescription drugs at a fraction of the cost He’d have a lot of material to attack the rest of the useless Dems with during debates, but what would they have on him?

Resorted my listed based on who I think is most likely to least likely. While there's still a long time until this begins to shake out but I no longer think Harris or Ramaswamy will run. 4 months since this initial post it does seem more like AOC, Pritzker, and Cuomo are possibilities for Dems as well as Chris Sununu, and an undetermined tech CEO for Reps.
