The creature is psychotic and it will take years to recover from his idiocy. That's assuming that we can, no sure thing at the rate he's pumping out stupidity.

Even Tesla Has Sounded Alarm on Trump Tariffs

Tesla has warned that the escalating trade war could lead to retaliatory tariffs, significantly increasing the costs of vehicle production in the U.S. and making Tesla's exports less competitive globally. This development comes as President Trump has recently imposed tariffs on imports from major trading partners, including Canada, Mexico, and China.

    Key Challenges Facing Tesla
    • Increased Production Costs: Tariffs on imported materials could raise the costs of vehicle production in the U.S., making Tesla's products less competitive in the global market.
    • Supply Chain Disruptions: The reliance on international suppliers for critical components like lithium and cobalt could be disrupted, leading to potential shortages and increased costs.
    • Retaliatory Tariffs: Countries like China, which is Tesla's second-largest market, co

This is the long term effect on tariffs, over night we became an ally who cant be trusted...................Now its isolationism at its worst, countries will buy elsewhere and the little bit of MFG that comes back are ****ed. Instead of walk softly but carry a big stick, now were just the bully on the playground and there is one thing people hate and will unite them is being picked on................our values are about not only helping ourselves but helping others. maga folks believe what he is doing to help them.................LOL.............he is there to get rich and get his friends richer by selling out the country.

Japan Threatens to Dump U.S. Debt Over Trump's Tariffs ... which should increase borrowing costs for US debt.

Is there an unbiased video or podcast out there that discusses the full pros and cons of tariffs?

My company purchases about 10% of our raw materials from foreign sources (s/s, aluminum and some other components). We just had a conference call about a price increase that we're going to have to pass on starting in April. Means restaurants are going to have to pay more for the equipment. Means opening a restaurant has become even more expensive than it already is. Even though we don't know if the tarrifs will actually be implemented or even affect us, the instability and the constant changing back and forth forced our execs to protect against the likelihood that there will be higher prices for these materials.

In other words, a perfect example of who pays for the tarrifs. Hint: it ain't the other countries.

NOW you want to see the full pros and cons of tariffs? Not when Trump was talking about it during his campaign?

I can already tell you REALLY want to agree and go with Trump's tariffs left and right but it's getting more and more difficult for you to agree with it.

I think you misunderstood my request. I was looking for an unbiased discussion on tariffs. Not a rant about your opinion.

    Good post.

How do we bring parity back to America and its citizens? How do we remove inefficient and redundant polices that often service nothing more than make-work jobs?

Can we cut 80% of the IRS if we exempt people from paying income taxes who make less than 100k a year? And instead perhaps have a 10-20% tariff on non-essential goods to make up the difference? How can we make medicare more efficient? Why do we need to pay 200k+ for post HS education when AI agents can easily replace half of the staff and facilities? If you want to be a nurse, use an AI agent and when the person is ready, take a state board exam.

It feel likes there is too much bureaucracy across the board. But social security ... that is a tough nut.

I am not interested in Trump tariffs. Its blatantly obvious he is using the topic to stir controversy and abuse the situation and stupid people just react to it without a single thought other than "orange man bad".

Debate and discussions requires logic and most of the people like yourself reply through emotions. You are better suited in a therapist office explain your FEELINGS on why Trump upsets you. I know you're scared of change. And its ok.
