    When the Rockets lost 6 games in a row, I thought they wouldn't make it to the play-in. This 8 game winning streak has clinched a play in position.

    The team mustn't relax at all. Udoka needs to get them ready for all the remaining 12 games, so they can clinch a playoff spot. Perhaps, they might be able to sit Sengun, Jalen and FVV out for the last 2 games of the regular season.

    Our next seven games are Miami, Denver, Atlanta, Utah, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Utah again. I'd like to see us go 5-2 over this stretch (if we drop one against the bad/mediocre teams, at least pick one up against either Denver or LA to make up for it). If we do that I think we'll be in a good position to have HCA in the first round.

    The last five games are brutal--OKC, GSW, LAC, LAL, DEN. Hopefully we'll already have enough of a buffer we only need to win a couple of them, and we do that in the first few of those games.

    I would think that if his scoring improvement hadn't stalled and gone into reverse this season. Maybe it's just a blip and he'll take a big leap next season?

    Amen's pace of improvement has been ridiculous so far. If his year 2 to year 3 leap is as big as his year 1 to year 2 leap, he will already be our best player next season.

    There’s a non-zero chance Sengun is third team All NBA this season. The chances are very low, but Bill Simmons spoke about how he may vote for him since Wemby is out.

    Glad you started this thread cause I was thinking about having one to address that if the Rockets just split the last 12 games (6 more wins) they will finish with a +20 wins over last year. Combine that with Udoka's +19 wins the year before and you've got history made. No team has ever had back to back growth seasons like that and the cool thing is, with how we're playing, we will probably be over +20.

    Given all the online discourse about how he shouldn't have even made the ASG, I would be surprised, but I guess there's a chance. The journos seem to like him pretty well when I watch other broadcasts and such.

    These past five years have both felt longer and shorter than it really was. Does that make sense, or do I just sound like an idiot..?

    We've witnessed the end of the Harden era, the dark days of KPJ, CWOOD, John Wall/Oladipo and Stephen Silas, the beginning of the turnaround last year and NOW: a guaranteed winning record and a bright future.

    The true turnaround happened quick. The bad times were truly awful.

    I'm glad to have been able to make it through those times with everyone here, and I'm really excited to watch our Rockets excel in the future with y'all.

    That would be awesome.
    Tari said we need to be desperate. He's right, but they need to start by setting up their defense from the beginning of the first quarter, and tighten it up the 4th quarter. Defense, rebounding and ball movement are the keys to success, but the turnovers need to keep on decreasing.

    I believe his scoring went down, because he had to become the defacto PG when FVV got injured.

    Honestly, Jalen has become much better assisting as well. Look at last night's game, everyone is sharing the ball now, it's awesome teamwork.

    we absolutely crushed, obliterated expectations. this has been an unbelievable season however it finishes in the end.

    expectations will be much higher next season and that's where it'll get tricky. continued upward trend isn't a guarantee. look at timberwolves this year. look at orlando this year. young guys need to keep developing and management needs to keep putting together pieces that lead to winning culture
