Sure it does. If the resale value sucks, new buyers will think twice about owning the cars. New sales are decreasing and resale value is plummeting. I would never buy a Tesla now, where 5 years ago I was considering one as my next car.
Resale value has always sucked for EVs. The losers are the people selling at low values. The people winning are the ones buying at low values. Take advantage
