The man is tweaking from bad "microdosing" rounds. A nanny should prob take away his phone when he crashes into his bipolar lows. I mean, he's representing us whether we chose him or not...

I thought cons were hailing Poland as Good Europe or something. How far will they twist and squirm to latch onto elons butt?

Apparently not. This is a person who seems to lack empathy (calling it a fundamental weakness of civilization), have no ethics, be a pathological liar, and possess an utmost desire for power.

Neuroscientists recently discovered that empathy appears to have emerged at some point in the human evolution timeline. In fact, primitive patterns of empathy have been observed in dogs, rats, and primates. What’s even more interesting is that neuroscientists are learning that empathy may have a genetic basis, which could help explain why some people are more empathetic than others.

Research also tells us that childhood experiences significantly influence your ability to empathize or not empathize. Some studies found that children who suffer from abuse, neglect, and are raised in a “hostile family environment” are more prone to antisocial behavior, aggression, and lack of empathy as adults.

Feel free to dig into my rant about 'empathy'. A highly overused buzzword that is very frequently misused. Much like the word organic.

Empathy has been observed in some species of pets since .. the beginning of time? I am not sure why you need someone with a fancy piece of paper to tell you it exists in some animals when you can go get a dog or cat, treat it with love and experience it yourself.

the 60's Democrats were not big on labels. however, it seems in the last 15 or 20 years, the 'party of inclusion' is all about labels and dissecting people, similar to the eugenics practice of the 40's. The idea that people need to shame others for lacking empathy in certain (or even most) circumstances is a problem in itself.

Let me put it another way - Most people (like yourself) who use the word empathy really mean sympathy. Because you know, buzz words and definitions.

That’s a nice little tangent, but it has nothing to do with what I said. I wasn’t debating the definition of empathy or whether it’s overused as a buzzword. I was pointing out that Musk himself views empathy as a weakness and seems to lacks it - something he openly admits. If you want to argue that lacking empathy is a good thing, go ahead and make that case, but at least stay on topic.

Well, we just expelled the South African ambassador. This is not only unusual, it's extraordinary. It does not happen often and in this case, we are not at war with South Africa. Well, WE are not at war with South Africa, yet anyway. I think the Boer running our country wants to bring back the apartheid government, which is pretty much the only explanation for this.

    This is exactly why.

Musk, Thiel want their retribution for the US not siding with the deplorable Apartheid in South Africa. It’s still a rallying cry for the modern right. “Can’t let the US become like South Africa!!”

It's disgusting how many likes that post got. There are a whole lot of sickos supporting the nasty and downright and disturbing stuff that right wing South African racist retweets.

This is one of the most sensitive administrations, unable to handle criticism, fair or not. It reflects the leadership at the top, who is known to be ultra sensitive.

He was expelled because he gave a speech (by the way, this administration claims to be a supreme defender of free speech, but that is not true; in concrete examples, they are anti-free speech) that was organized by a South African think tank. In that speech, he remarked that the administration's policies were in effect mobilizing a "supremacist instinct" among Americans. He suggested that the administration's approach was not merely political rhetoric but an appeal to a sense of "white victimhood." This was a strategy he described as a "dog whistle" intended to galvanize a particular segment of the electorate in the context of clear demographic shifts. None of this is particularly new; it has been a common analysis since around 2016.
