If we’re gonna get a guy who can play both, I’d like Donovan Jackson who played guard really well then filled in at tackle and did the same.
I am still nervous about Josh's injury, and because of that, I am sure he is exactly who the Texans will pick at 25.
Having heard nothing, I have to assume he has a clean bill of health. If there was negative information or no information, I think it would be a big story.
He had a season ending knee injury and did not do any drills at the combine. The only thing I've read about his rehab came from him stating he's good and 'ahead of schedule,' and there is a 'chance' he will be ready to start in 2025
Here's a good article on him. https://thedraftnetwork.com/2025/01/12/donovan-jackson-nfl-draft-skill-set
25. Matthew Golden WR Texas 39. Donovan Jackson OG Ohio State 58. Tate Ratledge OG Georgia 79. Alfred Collins DT Texas 89. Tory Horton WR Colorado State 148. Jack Nelson OT Wisconsin 166. Carson Vinson OT Alabama A&M All future HOFers, so no problems. Well, maybe not Carson Vinson and Tory Horton. Golden fell to 25, and with all his hints of wanting to play here, I picked him. Then I traded a 2026 1st &3rd for picks 39 to get Jackson and 148 to get a guaranteed project Jack Nelson. Jack probably won't get the starting nod until 2027. I picked Alfred Collins to satisfy Demeco's defensive twitch. I personally wanted a TE and a RB somewhere, but wasn't thrilled with anyone on the board during the picks.

At 79, I tend to go for Bech (listed as a versatile R, but I think it includes TE) if he's still there or Jalen Royals (a legitimate WR2). Collins will sometimes slide to 89. At 166 i tend to go for Brashard Smith for my depth RB.
