Not sure thats true. I think caserio and demeco had stipulations for the OC job such as keeping most the position coaches. Demeco could have decided that the Oline room needed to be radically altered and let OC candidates know that would be the case.
Thats the thing that soured me on him, he wanted the status and the money but didn't want to put in the work, when he got his last contract he said he wanted to be a leader and then went and sat out most of the pre-season and I think that rubbed off on the entire group..............good riddance dude

Tunsil did not have his best season in 2024, part of the line's overall difficulties -- penalties were a particular issue for him -- but he was still very good. According to Pro Football Focus, Tunsil has a 91.7 pass blocking grade since 2022, which is second in the NFL among all offensive tackles. As part of the compensation, the Texans received a 2026 second-rounder and a 2025 third-rounder. Tuesday brought the signing of veteran guard Laken Tomlinson, even while another move -- trading O-lineman Kenyon Green, a first-round pick in 2022 who never lived up to that draft status, to Philadelphia -- underscored the amount of work there is to do up front.
He also was coming off of knee surgery and then last year was playing on a bum ankle. These injuries limited the amount he practiced.
Only thing is we had a metric crap ton of cash last year. Without restructures I believe someone said we only have like 4 mil in the piggy bank.
