He would be a local car dealership owner if his father was in the 5-20 million dollar bracket of wealth but the 400+ million allowed him to be a fake real estate tycoon. It's unfortunate. His true calling was local car dealership owner. Same politics also. I'm pretty sure car dealership owners are like 80% of the GOP base. My passion of hate for these people stem from me being raised watching their corny ass commercials.
follow the money, Musk has been the largest campaign donor, ~~ $240 million, to the Trump 2.0 presidentia campaign. Musk Seeks to Put An Additional $100 Million Directly Into Trump Political Operation
Buying and keeping positions of power in the White House is the yellow brick road for billionaires now that Trump is in charge. Corruption at its finest.
US President does infomercial at White House for company owned by his biggest political donor https://electrek.co/2025/03/11/us-p...company-owned-by-his-biggest-political-donor/ When I write those headlines, I feel like I’m running The Onion in an alternative universe where satire is the reality. But you can’t accuse me of “clickbaiting” because this headline is actually accurate. ... This is purely transactional. Elon gave him $250 million, so now that Tesla’s stock is in free fall, he gives him a boost. Like his Bitcoin pump, it isn’t likely to work. My hope is that it will at least help open the minds of some of his fans to electric vehicles, but I have doubts.
He had to write the price with and without full self driving because adding or subtracting $8k is too complicated for a genius.
Since you seem sincere in believing these are the same, I’ll take a moment to explain the difference. Biden driving the electric F-150 is about showcasing policy and innovation - he’s promoting American-made technology and clean energy initiatives, not a specific product. An infomercial, however, would have the president personally endorsing a private company’s product directly, using the White House as a platform to sell it. That’s a whole different ball game. It’s using government resources for a private business that just happens to be his biggest political donor. Now, if that doesn’t clear it up for you, I can’t help anymore.
I don't need help but the effort and all of those sentences are appreciated. Nothing that either of these guys endorse makes a difference with me. I will read reviews for hours and hours before I make a decision.
This isn't about your personal purchasing decisions, obviously. I think you understand that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're perfectly fine with having an infomercial at the White House for products from large political donors.
Difference being biden actually drove the vehicle..... Trump's fat ass sat in the car looking like an idiot
You take this message board way too seriously. You have for years. I am not trying to change anyone's mind as it's a fool's errand. If I can add the occasional levity, then so be it.
