He's correct, of course, but I insist on my right as a fan to throw knee-jerk, hysterical, fits of crying like a teenage girl, reactions!

We are going to need a good backup QB.

Wonder if we're considering Joe Noteboom + George Fant .. maybe Becton?

Will Fries looks headed to Seattle

One of my favs looks like he might take a below market deal: Brady Christensen.

He did - and he did nothing unethical… he has earned his money. However I can understand why the Texans chose to move on from him.

I can too, they have to sign Stingley/CJ/WA etc... and rumor has it Tunsil was already inquiring about another extension.

How much cap do they save in 2026 is the key? That's when CJ/WA and probably Hunter will need to be extended.

As far as my most memorable Tunsil plays, in 2023 him gutting out the 2nd half of the season playing on a bad knee that needed surgery and still playing well even in the playoffs.

So does Howard go back to RT or take over at LT? Does Fisher move to LT?

Stoerner loves to bash our players making him hard for me to listen to. He reminds me a a boss or two who knew nothing, but thought all there was to being boss was hollering, screaming and threatening the people who knew how to do the job.

We got fleeced, plain amd simple. No 1st round pick and a practically useless 7th rounder. 1st major hiccup for Demeco.

It appears to be a statement that the Texan Way really IS most important.

Tunsil was pretty damn awesome sans the penalties -- difficult to replace.

After Kenyon's suckage, Texans need multiple OL draftees to hit. Gonna be a tall task considering they haven't shown much prowess in that area over the past decade.

Texans are still recovering from Butt Chin

California fires are easier to contain than his wrath is.

The buzzword is build the OLINE from the inside out.

Now who are the best OCs available?

Is Zabel better than either Scruggs or Patterson? Is Mbow better? Would you like a Zabel, Mbow, Ratledge interior with current starters as backups? It would give us a stable and low cost IOL for 4 years as the CORE get their big contracts.

Zabel - Zabel is a powerful offensive lineman who generates serious push as a blocker on the move. He applies a “take no prisoners” mentality when he locks up at the point of attack.

MBow - Brings a wrestler's mentality to finishing blocks, routinely driving defenders into the turf and maintaining engagement through the whistle

Ratledge - Brings a nasty demeanor to the trenches, finishing blocks through the whistle and setting a physical tone that energizes the entire offensive line

Everyone needs to not panic. We have a draft and a full offseason to go. We have new coaching. It's entirely possible the coaching alone makes the unit satisfactory.

It's their jobs if they miss, not ours...

If we can get better run blocking so 3rd and 7 is 3rd and 3 then it will help against the pass rush... too often we were putting ourselves in obvious pass rush situations due to how the line, including Laremy, was playing. More balance will help...

Sounds like we'll have a new blocking scheme as well.
