So we just dumped our best and only quality lineman for nothing. Brilliant.

    Glad he's gone.

The much needed reconfiguring of the line is happening.

Honestly I'm thrilled he's gone. Hated the trade when we got him and have never come around. Way too many penalties and just didn't try hard enough in run blocking.

Killed too many momentum/drives with stupid penatlies. Didn't care for his attitude and work ethic either. Glad we were able to get rid of him. Washington, prepare for a penalty fest.

At least we won't have to worry about 100 yards in false start penalties a game now lol. I do hope they're marinating something though.

I’m having the same issue, but I wonder if it is because I have kept the old Twitter app this whole time. Did they finally catch the “just close it and reopen” loophole? If so. I’m happy to be done with it.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve never had a Twitter account, but I used to be able to read the replies. Then it changed so I could only see the original tweet. Now, I can’t see past where it was posted.

Would have liked to get a round earlier but they probably knew we were moving on and are facing an extension.

    This.
We basically paid the going rate for Walter Jones in trade and salary and got a guy that did just enough to get paid. He has a high IQ, but used it to make sure he never had to do any of the dirty or thankless work and wasn’t great enough to over come that. Quite frankly, they should have gotten rid of him sooner.

He also was one of those guys that took every single liberty from not practicing, to showing up late - to leaving early every time possible… but did not extend that same courtesy the other way around, at any point he had leverage he used it to get more money. He has that right - but the Texans have the right to move on from him and he won’t be forgotten. I have heard away from football he is a nice person … but he was a pain in the ass for the Dolphins and Texans.

He's overrated. Teams knew where the weak spot in the line was.

Like a corner who is never thrown at, they are elite until they get proven not suddenly.

Laremy was paid to be a complete tackle and his run blocking was lacking. More 3rd and 2 than 3rd and 7 will help the pass protection more.

I forgot about the Beyonce cleats mainly because I had blocked out the game entirely in my mind. Yeah this was a weak move smfh. Bring back Fant as a swing tackle, sign Zeitler and draft the best tackle available, I'm assuming that's Kelvin Banks since Membou is a rt and Will Campbell apparently has alligator arms.

I was hoping to upgrade the OL and WR rooms in order to have a shot at the Super Bowl this year. Perhaps the finances dictate otherwise. I'm just bummed about it.

He was the ONE guy on our line that could pass protect.

That got a lot better after Patterson took over at C.
