I agree with you that the Democratic Party right now lacks leadership, a vision and a path to victory. I would point out that this happens all the time in American politics though. It was only 2016 where the Republican looked completely defeated and out of touch. As for the election- the fact remains that Trump failed to get 50% of the popular vote and his election was by less than Biden over Trump. The Democrats can make massive gains by focusing on wealth inequality and workers rights.
