Its just mind blowing how utterly braindead the admin is and everyone treats them as normal individuals.

The Trump theory is we need to ruin our alliances with our allies and leverage high tariffs on our neighbors so we can bring back manufacturing just so we can have robots making all of our goods? Are they forreal? And you have braindead trolls on these forms @Space Ghost claiming the Biden admin were incompetent lol

For Trump 45's 25% steel tariffs, the average US household saw a ... -$675 ... "benefit".

The fact that she is a woman certainly played a part- especially in an election decided by like 2%.

The Democrats knew that - Obama supposedly warned them and was upset there wasn’t a primary.

I agree with you that the Democratic Party right now lacks leadership, a vision and a path to victory. I would point out that this happens all the time in American politics though. It was only 2016 where the Republican looked completely defeated and out of touch.

As for the election- the fact remains that Trump failed to get 50% of the popular vote and his election was by less than Biden over Trump.

The Democrats can make massive gains by focusing on wealth inequality and workers rights.

    this is hilarious

they told the low IQ MAGAts they can’t increase wages because businesses would suffer and will turn to automation instead just to keep their wages low with no adjustment for inflation and increased cost of living while undergoing increased automation anyways

Hope we win? The admin is telling Americans we need to pay more for every day goods through tariffs just so we can have robots making the products in the usa.

I just don't understand how anyone can be so braindead to think Trump is good with economics. Its such a dumb cult

Don't forget Democrats gained seats in the house of Representatives and were only a few thousand votes away from flipping the chamber.

MAGA cultists never acknowledge they lost seats

Same thing is happening in denmark. People are boycotting American bars and products

And what's the end game here? We're destroying our alliances and cutting off our allies just so we can have robots build our products here?

The WH isn't saying we're going bring good manufacturing jobs here. They are openly saying AI + robots will keep prices down without needing workers

As soon as Elroy can keep his cars, spaceships and potential robots from exploding then we may be able to do away with 15% of the American workforce.

That 15% will jump to 30%, and will be all white collar jobs, btw, once his AI takes over Wall Street, and insurance, and....

Tariffs, Even If Delayed, Could Get Big Reactions from the Auto Companies
Ford, GM, and Stellantis have all publicly thanked the feds for delaying tariffs, but it seems clear that they and other automakers will mount strong responses once they're implemented.

By Jack FitzgeraldPublished: Mar 7, 2025

    https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a64089939/tariff-production-moves-explainer/

    • After declaring tariffs would go into effect this week, the Trump administration has now placed a 30-day hold on tariffs for goods that comply with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), including cars made by the Big Three domestic automakers.
    • While the administration hopes the tariffs will incentivize automakers and suppliers to bring more production to the United States, industry analysts suggest that strategy may not work.
    • A report cited by Automotive News suggests that many automotive parts suppliers would move production outside the U.S in the event of tariffs and, if the tax remains in effect for six months, could cut U.S. jobs.

A report by Automotive News shows that roughly one-third of U.S. auto parts suppliers said they would move production outside of the U.S. if 25 percent tariffs on Canada and Mexico stay in place for six months. The AN report cites a February survey conducted by MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers, a company that represents U.S. auto parts manufacturers.

In the study, more than 80 percent of American suppliers surveyed said tariffs on Mexico would negatively impact their business while more than two-thirds said the same about tariffs on Canada, according to AN. Nearly a quarter of surveyed suppliers said they would cut or delay investments if tariffs lasted just a month. If the tariffs were to last for six months, nearly half of the surveyed suppliers said, they would cut U.S. jobs.
