difference between someone like Reed and Castle is that Castle looks like he has never been lacking in confidence and seems like he wants to be great…he’ll enter the Dunk Contest as a rookie and put on a very solid showing the Rising Stars game might be meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but he goes out there and snatches the MVP…Reed went out there and didn’t even score in either of the Rising Stars game Reed plays 6 minutes of garbage time the other night and does not record a field goal
Reeds competition is Aaron Holiday, Castle competition is Cp3, Fox and Devin Vassell. Stop the cope. Castle would play pg and sg here like how Amen plays pg when FVV isnt playing. Castle plays hard on defense so he would see PT and as a top drafted rookie he would gets mins just like how Reed saw mins.
Castle is a talent and i think he has a chance to be good, but make no mistake, he has been complete dogshit this season. He’s been worse than rookie Jabari, and that’s not easy to do. He’s a guard who can’t shoot though so he will take some time, i wouldn’t give up on him just because he’s had a horrifying rookie season.
Castle is the favorite to win ROY so nobody who matters will give up on him. It aint even a discussion. Try asking Spurs fans if any of them are giving up on Castle and see what they tell you. Ok so how come in the all star game which was an even playing field for everyone he got MVP while Reed didnt even score a point in two games? Everyone else is just clueless and didnt see Reed's greatness amirite?

Its not an important game but shows you in an even playing field Castle is a lot better than Reed. Without any excuse for winning teams or coaches who supposedly hate him Castle showed up and Reed didnt. If Reed doesnt even show up for internationally viewed games where he will be scrutinized by the world then its not a surprise he is ineffective in the official games too.

Except the reason reed played was because he was supposed to be able to shoot. Castle did not have that possibility, so there was never a reason to play him. It’s not that complicated, like it’s really not.
Nah Reed played because he was the top 3 pick and Stone and Ime wanted to see if he is good or not. Castle would have that same benefit of the doubt. We play Amen thompson even if he cant shoot so your argument makes zero sense. Clearly Ime plays players for reasons than their ability to shoot. Remember when Amen was a rookie last year? Reed has played even worse than Castle and he still got mins. Why only Castle wont get mins if he plays bad? Typical Reed bias. Btw Amen was bad at the first half of the season he still got mins. First 4 games Amen was awful got 16 mpg. First 13 games Amen was still shooting below 40% he still got 14 mins.
Reed needs proper offense sets fast ball movement , cuts and screens in order to get his shoot. Unfortunately we don't have any.
