This game was like Denver Nuggets or LA Lakers dominating most of the game and then MInny or whoever closing out the series.

Real Madrid is like the Yankees or Lakers of European futbol. Sometime the mystique that surrounds them overwhelms the teams they are playing.

Real Madrid knows, all they have to do is hold the line, and the opposition team will exhaust themselves by pushing for the goal. Almost a Mohammad Ali approach, the rope-a-dope strategy, exhaust your opponent and then knock him out. And if they can’t get the knock out goal in the field of play, well Real Madrid has been one of the elite teams in penalty shootouts, and they usually win shootouts.

For sure, that is the counter attack tactic but for those 70 minutes they should get booed lol......if it were a very adamant fan that wants to see dominating playing style the whole 80 or 90 minutes.

For all the hundred millions they pour out for the best Offense on this Planet, that is unacceptable. You raise the standards just being associated with the brand Real.....

CR7 would have made the header spectacular, the same with the 2nd goal where the ball grazed his foot yet almost being missed by the foot.

It’s very tactical how Real Madrid plays. They always make sure to have some gas in the tank, while the opponent is spent and running on empty. And they have the trump card, the hundreds of millions invested in their offensive players; perhaps the reason they can out duel other teams when it comes to penalty shootouts.

Barcelona with Messi played some beautiful soccer. But Real Madrid’s dominance winning titles cannot be overlooked, they play to win, seems they do not care about swooning the audience with gracefulness of perfect choreography.

"So what you want to do now that you made the Finals is...change your entire starting 5. They'll never see it coming!"

Houston based group seems to be leading the charge to acquire my rooting interest in the EPL, Everton. So I’ve got that going for me…which is nice.

How can Turkey sue Mourinho for racism, when he was talking about a country.....Turkey is not a race, it is a country.

That seems to have gone too far....

One of the worst, most dangerous, keeper penalties you'll ever see happened in the Crystal Palace match this morning. Hope Mateta avoided serious face/head injury.
