Congressmen and economists said the IRA wouldn't do anything to reduce inflation and inflation would likely rise. That's exactly what happened. The IRA was a ruse to fund the Green New Scam, where our govt spread taxpayer money around the world. Would you be surprised if after the money was laundered that these politicians on both sides of the isle got a cut?

Who believes your electric bills will be cut in half within a year? Who believes the auto industry will thrive to record levels from tariffs? Who has seen the cost of living change already? Who believes insurance will go down, especially after another hurricane season? How about those cheap eggs from day one?

 

If you excuse bad behavior because someone says it is for a crisis, all bad behaviors will be accompanied by declarations of crisis. Principles are not put on hold because there is a crisis.

 

SMH, Trump's been in office for 30 days and there's a massive recession? Not.

 

Duh.

The one major accomplishment of Trump’s first term was the massive trillions of dollars tax cuts for the ultra wealthy. It wasn’t a wall, of saving/bringing back jobs or all the other stuff…. It was massive tax cuts for the wealthiest people.

So now in his second term… he is using his political capital for the same thing, massive tax cuts for the wealthiest people… like himself and the cadre of billionaires supporting him financially and have used their influence to their benefit.

This is class warfare and it isn’t shocking….,Trump is a massively wealthy old white man that has always been very wealthy. His concern and perspective is that of people like himself and not the poor or middle class people.

Once it became clear Trump had a real chance to win, the billionaires started trying to ingratiate themselves with him and to join in the wealth grab.

 

There isn’t a massive recession, there are no concentration camps and the USA is still a democracy. While I have concerns about the motivations of Trump - they are just concerns and until there is an actual massive recession, I think it’s foolish to be convinced it is 100% coming or that the sky is falling….

Let me know when the ovens are turned on… Gitmo has been open for 20 years now and terrible things have happened there. Unfortunately the beating and mistreatment of brown people there has been going on for decades.

 

We were torturing suspected terrorists we found in the middle east (dont agree with it but they werent on American soil). We werent picking up immigrants who were showing up for immigration hearings and throwing them in Gitmo while beating them to the point they were trying to hang themselves with a bed sheet. Trump is throwing any undocumented person to Gitmo regardless if they've committed a crime or not.

No need to whitewash Trump's actions. He is pushing the boundary

 

Dont intentionally break the law and expect red carpet treatment. There's plenty of space and cots there for illegals. People have switched off goons who are more passionate about criminals than regular law abiding citizens. A system exists for a reason and when you keep gaming it the loopholes will be closed. It leads to the mass lootings and closure of small businesses wherever people can keep getting away with it. Illegals are not being tortured like terrorist suspects, they are given beds and clean sheets while in detainment. If you don't like it, go to another country.

 

We were arresting Arabs in the USA and sending them to Gitmo and torturing them.

It was disgusting and was an overreach. I’m not whitewashing Trump. His mass deportation of long term immigrants in the USA is stupid, inhumane and will only hurt the USA and most Americans.

Having said that - we crossed this line of depravity years ago.

 

We are deporting legal asylm holders who are simply showing up for their hearings. These are not people who have committed any crime. These are people who were given TPS and show up at a hearing with their immigration officer only to be arrested so ICE can make quota.

We are sending single moms to Gitmo who have committed no crime. Its insane and you're too much in a cult to realize it.

 

Illegal immigrants have been coming into the USA forever. The US policy has been fairly consistent for almost 35 years because of the overall benefits to the US and US economy.

Many of these people have lived and worked in the USA for decades. They have paid taxes, contributed to the economy, raised families and even have blended families. Now - all of a sudden, after 30 years we are going to label them criminals and justify sending them all back?

If we want to make that policy for all people coming in now illegally? Okay…. But all those already here have to leave?

 

People are aware of what is happening but they don’t care because it isn’t happening to them. There is a certain percentage of people that don’t really care as long as they think they potentially benefit from it.

 

The issue is Majorkas and Biden admins made it so this phrase... "legal asylum" means nothing. These people have been given clear instructions on what to say to get in the country. There were numerous interviews by people from Sudan, South America, Asia at the border crossings saying they were instructed what to say to apply for asylum. So when millions of people game the system , helped by an entire political party, there's a pushback. I'd also say illegal detainment and closing the border was the PRIMARY issue that scared the middle into voting trump. Remember, the current border czar Homan was an Obama appointee and there was no whining about racism then. Just common sense. Americans are in a tough spot and have to help themselves before they help everyone else so the far left will continue to alienate ppl the more they call them in a cult for pushing common sense.

 

Congrats on championing slave labor. And being aloof to the record numbers that started over the Biden admin that completely broke the system. Americans are in a tough spot and need to help themselves before helping the world, and most do not want slave labor to do it (because they are not wealthy enough to benefit from it). Most do not want billions of tax dollars going to making it a smooth transition. This process is messy because of how bad Majorkas let it get.. encouraging random people from all over the world to come and giving them instructions on what to say to get in (not telling them to be honest). This doesn't include those who come over temporarily to give birth and take advantage of birthright citizenship.

You can't be naive to the fact that people took advantage of how welcoming and lax the system was.

As far as deporting existing illegals, obviously all violent offenders and criminals go first. And if you're living with them you get picked up. If you've been gainfully employed in construction, food, or housework then I wouldn't do it, but you need a sponsor to vet you. So set up paperwork for 20-30 million people.

 

We're going to find out the long term consequences.
