    Alpy is mentally weak.

    Like tragically.

Stop fiddling around and play direct and smart for 2 weeks. It will help him

Really glad we won this game because I don't want to deal with the sh*storm on this forum for a week if we'd lost after that stupid turnover.

    It was very stupid.

Alperen Sengun finished with another double double with 3 blocks and was +14.

For those that still think Sengun has “high BB IQ” just stop it.

    Great.
And needlessly threw the entire team under the bus with his mental weakness.

I see it as a disease on this team. Just not right mentally and it may spread thru the team. The decision making just isn’t good. The mindset and awareness to close out games and dominate just not there. Really frustrating to watch simple inbound plays messed up, FT’s missed, or simply losing the ball thru careless passing or dribbling.

I've come to realize that what he has is a really good "feel for the game". Instinctual level. Bball IQ is still a WIP

Rockets were turnover prone but Alp had a single TOV tonight.

    Turnovers by Rockets

    Jalen Green: 4
    Jabari Smith Jr: 3
    Tari Eason: 3
    Amen Thompson: 2
    Dillon Brooks: 1
    Je'Sean Tate: 1
    Alperen Sengun: 1

Dumber than the Amen turnover just 2 weeks ago? Not sure about that. Young inexperienced players do dumb things.

Alperen was the best player on Rockets tonight + this is coming from an Amen fan. 1 turnover in 4th when other players had multiple TOV in clutch time.

Yes dumber. Amen’s pass wasn’t dumb, it was just late and not in the right spot. And At least that was a normal attempted pass not a flashy attempt in a highly critical situation when all he had to do was hold the ball or pass it off on the perimeter. That’s just stupid.

Amen threw a “normal” pass to the other team under his own basket when he could have called a timeout. At least Alpi’s mistake was out of bounds on the other end of the court. Hell, even in this game, Dillon’s five second violation with a wide-open Jabari standing right next to him was more inexplicable and boneheaded.

The best player on this team is a disease? Or the whole team has disease?

Yeah- the game was full of awful basic basketball plays.
Tari passing it straight to the Bucks in the 1st Q (twice)
Brooks in the 4th Q just standing there holding the ball and not inbounding
    Jabari dribbling off his foot
Tate assaulting someone when setting a screen
    Jalen's decision making

    At least we won!! Next.

nope completely different. Amen did not throw the pass to the other team. His intent was to pass it to Brooks. The pass was late and misplaced where the defender deflected and stole the ball.

Sengun attempted an unnecessary no look behind the back pass. Not a fundamental pass that got stolen or went out of bounds. But a flashy and unnecessary pass. 2 completely different types of passes. You are conflating the 2.

This is like saying someone slipped on an icy sidewalk because they misplaced their foot on a patch of ice whereas another was fuc*ing around and dancing unnecessarily then slipping and falling. 2 different things.

doesnt negate the fact that his pass was perhaps the dumbest pass in NBA history
