    Basically it's a piece from 2022 about a NASA intern who survived homelessness & cancer to intern on the Webb telescope (unclear as to whether or not she spent time posting "normalize Indian hate " or how racist she was, calls herself "big balls" or is associated with neo Nazi cyber crime rings)

    This was erased because the racists are trying to steal your government,y our money and your rights

    Nike is a fading brand. I am ok with that ad as it's resonates with a core group -athletic women.

    One insight you get into the reactionary right wing mind is how they perceive "job qualifications" when they scream "DEI" and how it's related to their narcissism.

    They keep on repeating this concept about "the most qualified human for the position" and I just feel like these people never worked for a living or never at inside a room during a hiring process.

    Even with technical skills based jobs like mine there is no such thing as a human "that is best qualified". There is no one human who is the most qualified at editing assembly and part files on Inventor or Solidworks(tasks of junior mechanical engineers at my job). There are a group of people technically qualified for it at near equal competent levels.

    So when you have a pool of hundreds of people who are near equal competence in entering data into a spreadsheet for example, then what becomes the differentiating factor?

    "Culture". Hobbies, sports interests, media entertainment gossip, wanting to go have beers together etc. So if a white lead engineer who overseas new engineer hires loves cars and the Green Bay Packers and enjoys the company of the white boy who also likes cars and the Green Bay Packers even though the black girl who doesn't care for those things can do the task equally competently, the white boy gets chosen because he "fits the culture".


    "DEI" is supposed to prevent large companies turning into "all boy frat house clubs". White men accumulated the capital and created these companies. They will instinctively seek out other white boys who share similar interests and ignore the talent pool that is equally as complete t but don't enjoy the NFL or v8 Cameros

    Ironically these diversity initiatives increases work productivity from employees because if you just hire based off vibes and culture you create a casual party environment where people are goofing around all day with little checks on them. Diversity creates people who don't have the same social interests or perspectives keeping each other in check. Ironically also if you are a big time anti-union corporate executive having a diverse employee base makes it harder for employees to organize. Having everyone with the same interests, social status, culture, hobbies etc makes it easier for employees to organize in solidarity.

    So you dudes who fancy yourself as business entrepreneurial capital experts, you are shooting yourselves in the feet with this anti-dei stuff which is the small silver lining here. You are making union organization easier and making workers less productive lol

    I played Jesus in a church play when I was 9.

    She isn’t any more wrong for the role than I was.

    plus, its Jesus Christ Superstar which has had many black female performers play the Jesus role.

    These are the things the right gets ****ed up about that kinda loses me.

    The post about the racial metrics and quotas that are required for oscar consideration is also racist. Two different things though.

    Also, it’s 2025. If a black person can play a white person, a white person should be able to play a black person. There is no reason to do either, because it’s silly. However, the equality of freedom should exist for all races to play any race.
