This loss falls on Sengun. He lacked the mobility to keep up with Utah's guards, particularly Keyonte George. His shot selection was extremely questionable, and he struggled to finish as usual.
I felt such relief taking a week off watching this team without FVV. If he's still out, I don't think I'm turning them on. He shouldn't be THIS important, but we play like absolute sht without him.
Fred's gonna demand the max from us if we decline his team option this off-season. Turns out our rebuild has been a complete failure if it weren't for FVV.
It's no surprise his defense looks back when the perimeter defense has reverted back to pre-Udoka days. Let me guess though - you blamed Sengun for the George 3 where he was telling Jalen to go out to the 3 point line to defender the perimeter player because he had the big man... Jalen didn't resulting in a wide open 3. Or how about the one where Sengun was running down the court with Kessler and didn't need Jabari to stay with him, telling Jabari to go to Markkenan on the perimeter, Jabari didn't resulting in a wide open 3. Sengun's fault there too right?
We are, it doesn't make losing these easy ones any less annoying. We are going to be routed in the 1st round of playoffs just because we are going to end up without home court. Very frustrating.
