So after finding out how many people you need to do a job and laying off the people you don't need is bat bleep crazy?

This happens in the real business world all of the time. My wife got laid off after working at HP for 26 years. She adjusted and went on with life. She's better off for it after getting laid off. I guess that's bat bleep crazy too?

Isy thinking that the government is bloated , incompetent and Trump, Musk are doing what should have been done 2-3 decades ago bat bleep crazy?

Anyways, they are treating the federal government like a business and all I can say is it's about time.

 

What is wrong with you? Seriously. That pisses me off. I've known plenty of hard working great people who worked all their lives for the government, who were morally and ethically as decent as it gets.

Those "people" aren't ripping you off providing you, your neighbors, or others in need a service. Those weather forecasters, people handing out water and supplies in hurricane recovery, providing meals on wheels to old people, planning engineering projects for roads, bridges, and drainage projects, delivering your mail, treating soldiers for PTSD, educating the public, researching diseases, etc ..aren't stealing your taxes.

You don't have a problem though it seems with Trump taking millions of taxpayers dollars in his first month alone, golfing at his resorts, going to the Superbowl and hanging out in a luxury suite, or riding around in a limo at Daytona 500 for photo ops.

Your remarks sound like something I picture coming out of mouths of people at some compound loaded a bunch of conspiracy theorists in tin foil hats, or a bunch of guys strapped and loaded to the hilt at a compound planning some terrorist plot.

 

I think what's crazy is thinking what Trump and Musk are doing what should have been done decades ago.

They are destroying lives, taking services away from the hard working Americans, the poor, and the sick, and laughing about it all the way to the bank, the country club, and the dinner parties with their fellow billionaires.

Just watch how many of those government "savings" fall into their greedy hands, as their businesses skyrocket in profits. Seeing Musk dressed like some weirdo with giant chains hanging around his neck while wielding a chainsaw, while laughing manically was bizarre and disturbing. He acts like a manic in the middle of a midlife crisis trying to go back to being a teenager again.

Trump and Musk are what many could call crazy, or label as sociopaths/psychopaths. It's a dangerous duo, who don't give a rat's ass about the average American, Democracy, or loyalty to our country, and the people of our country. Make no mistake about that.

Word salad and deception is their game, and their own social media sites are their conspiracy and lies platforms. Everyone is the enemy who dares to call out their lies or illegal acts, and with power to hire die hard loyalists, retribution and revenge will now their fuel against anyone getting in their way, with tips from the old KGB agent himself.

Putin knows how to wrongly imprison innocent people, torture and kill anyone in his way, and twist the truth like a master. Manipulation, lies, bribery, threats, and corruption are tools of the trade. Trump, Musk, and their comrade abroad have disturbing mindsets many would call evil, yet you call the veteran at the VA counseling a fellow disabled veteran or brother with PTSD the evil one stealing your taxes.

Believe me, the evil and disturbing mentality coming from the Oval Office is the scariest and most disturbing I've seen in my lifetime, that's for sure, and I'm old.

 

You understand that this admin pushes a lot of garbage out that is b.s. that gets scooped up by MAGA and many posteres here?

 

The government is not a business. It never has been. It never will be. If you run it like a business it will maximize value extraction from its customers while minimizing output, because that's what businesses do to the extent the market allows. The government provides or subsidizes services that no private market participant can (or should due to conflicts of interest) to make society function.

 

Cmon man, just have a conversation with me. I can tell you when Biden went wrong. Kamala, whoever, I can tell you when things dont look great.

Like why can you not criticize Elon or Trump? They are not on your team, I am on your team.

 

So you're against the govt being run like a business. That much is clear and your way of thinking has helped the bureaucracy grow to the levels it's at today. It's also what's lead to 38 TRILLION dollars in debt. BTW, have you been affected or anyone you know has been affected by these cuts?

as far as the chainsaw goes, I've got no problems with this because it was a gift from the POTUS of Argentina (What was he supposed to do, what would you have done in that situation?) The POTUS of Argentina country was going through the same thing our country is going through (bloated bureaucracy, out of control spending etc... and he did what Trump is doing and his country is on better footing because of this.

More Russia, Russia, Russia SMH. Bottom line is you dont want the country to be run like a business and you dont trust Trump. Nothing that I tyoe is going to change your way of thinking.

I dont have an issue with Trump going to these events. It's good for moral and all POTUS have done things like this. This just proves you've got a bad case of TDS. How much did Biden/Obama/Bush etc... cost taking trips to Hawaii/ Biden to the beach/ Bush wherever he went etc...

No I'm no I'm not planning a terrorist attack. I do own many guns (Come and try to take them from me and my neighbors) and yes they are loaded and ready for use at all times if my family is threatened.

They've only been in office for a month, I'm going to wait before I pass judgement on what they're doing for about a year and a half before I pass judgement because it's going to take that long to cleanup the mess. I like the things they've done so far and I'm looking forward to the future and I'm looking forward to not only more cuts, but seeing what Patel does at the FBI, they are a crooked org and Comey needs to be put in jail for the undermining of Trump's last POTUS. There's going to be a price the agency pays for what they did to Trump and his family. There were all kinds of illegal lies in FISA warrants, spying on a sitting POTUS etc.... Toady's Patel's 1st day on the job and I've got my popcorn ready because he knows where the bodies are buried. If I was working on the top 2-3 floors of the FBI building I would have my resume ready. If I was Adam Schiff I would be very scared. Biden may have pardoned him for the J6 lies and manipulations, but I'm sure he's got other skeletons in his closet.

Republicans were concerned about Biden’s control over agencies like the CDC, DOE, and HUD, but those were under direct executive control. With this EO, they should be much more concerned. It attempts to control independent agencies, like the SEC, FTC, and FCC, agencies that are meant to operate independently.
