Get rid of the 3pt shot and basketball would be great again!

Maybe I would enjoy the three point shot more if we had a team that could make them.

Of course, but the point is that it has killed the game for the most part, it is now a numbers game, whereas you used to have to run plays to get the best shot possible, now you just drive and kick....the game is much more boring.

What about the idea of limiting each team to 6 attempts per quarter and removing the corner 3? A team could take more than 6, but after that 6th the value comes back to 2 points. You'd have to strategize to make your best 3 point shooters take the shots and in theory lessen big men shooting so often.

Victor was taking 9 3 point attempts per game. That's just bad for basketball. It's gross.

Interesting - maybe you are limited to how many 3s you can make ...say 6 per game - and then as many as you want in the last 4 minutes of the game.

    So you can comeback?

When the 3 point play was making a free throw after being fouled while scoring, things were interesting. I'd almost like to see the goal elevated by a couple of feet too. It was one thing when only a few could do it, but quite another when everyone can do it. It takes the excitement out of it.It's like the amazement when Bill Willoughby blocked Lew Alcinders Sky Hook. It only happened 5 times by 4 players
