Then there is even less to talk about, Embiid is one of the worst in availability.......that is Ben Simmons territory.....almost.

Did this dude just quit on the season?

last night with no Maxey and Embiid, he scored 2 points in 36 minutes on 1-7 shooting in a loss to the Nets

that lying snake Morey backstabbed Harden who was the one that basically made his career, just to turn around and give the money that was promised to Harden to PG who is just as old and significantly worse as a player…if that’s not karma, Idk what is

this loser PG really had the audacity to demand a NTC from the Clippers

Daryl Morey really took a s*** when he signed Paul George. Talk about desperate. And that contract goes until 2028.

I'm sure ownership and the GM and everyone in 76ers-land wants to keep the party going, but this is like one of them going into the pantry and walking out ashen:

"There's nothing. No supplies. Nothing was delivered."
"But I spent all that money! Cancel the order, quick!"
    "We can't."
"WTF do you mean, 'we can't'? Get my money back!"
"WTF do you mean, 'Get my money back'? We can't!"
"Well, godd**nit, trade him! Get something in return!"

"Listen. To. Me. If Isiah Thomas were still a GM, we'd be in luck. No one is going to touch Paul George's contract. No one."

Morey's downfall is not graduating from needing 3 stars to win. He is still stuck in the previous decade and now he ****ed over that organization. He's probably going to get canned and going to be forced to consider rebuilding and hopefully we can get our hands on Maxey.

I don't hate Morey like so many here, but I must give you props on a well-written post.

I thought they were wrong to let Harden walk.
No matter what they say . . . . they were SIGNIFICANTLY worse without him
I know people think I'm a Harden Homer but . . . He was only a contributor to their playoff loss
but he was the primary contributor to the playoff wins
The Philly Phaithful use him as an escape goat . . .and let Embiid slide. . now they feeling it all

Well . . .to be honest his best season only had 2 "stars"
    One Mega st
ar and a Star in decline

What astonishes me about Philly Morey is the lack of Shooting
    Seriously. . . . .3 is better than 2. . . .where are all the 3 pt shooters?

    Man . . . . Between PG13 and Bradley Beal . . . . .. .
are there any worse contracts in the league
I must say . . .. the Rockets were very brave to simply eat that Wall contract

The Morey Rockets never had a lot of good shooter either. The best I can think of is Eric Gordon. I remember this board kept lamenting how Morey never seemed to be able to land any shooter. Ryan Anderson was supposed to be that but we all know how that turned out.

This reminded me. . .what the hell happened to Joe Harris
At the Nets he was shooting like 44% and then fell off a cliff in the playoffs
    and never recovered

You are right. Esp considering how many of our shooters were wide open

Yeah, Harris was weird. He seems to be only able to shoot with Brooklyn, shooting 44% from 3 on high volume. Then he's out of the league after being traded for less than a season.

    I'll tell you about one.

Morey did Isaiah Joe a huge favor by cutting him two years ago so Sam Presti could pick him up for nothing a day later. After about 1/3 the season, he went next-level and became a sharp-shooting key reserve. Last summer, he signed a 4yr/$48 million extension.

Morey said they couldn't fit him in.

    Oops!

. . . .and they got him for like 4 more years

No Way this was a Morey call . . .right?
Would have run him out of Houston myself . .. if he did that here
    Westbrook maybe a bad fit/trade
but this signing is . . .soooo much worse

    Championship?

PG is the most delusional fool within the multiverse. If he had any shame, he would’ve chucked that podcast in the trash a long time ago instead of yucking it up with his 2 yes-men while his team implodes and he’s out there looking like 08-09 T-Mac while being paid max money.
