WHITE HOUSE ECONOMIC ADVISER HASSETT: TRUMP WANTS TO FIGHT INFLATION BY INCREASING LABOR SUPPLY AND LOWERING AGGREGATE DEMAND -CNBC INTERVIEW

This is basically saying "we're going to create a grinding high unemployment recession"

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. Labor has like nothing to do with what our issue is with pricing & supply of goods. Labor is kind of been the one thing that had been going well (despite it being underpaid at the lower level). So instead of focusing on goods, we are going to unnecessarily fck around with the labor market???... WTF are these people smoking??

    If you actually do:

*end all medical reasearch & university hospitial systems
    *end all scientific research
    *end all regulation/regulatory agencies

As Musk/Doge are trying to do

That is a multitrillion dollar hit to GDP taht will result tens of millions of unemployed - basically the great Recession + Depression with no government bailout, because there will be no government. Just a fascist regime that rewards its supporters.

I know people think that ending the NSF only hurts pointed headed geeks making that sweet sweet government cash (actually they are paid below market) approving grant applications, but it actually supports entire cities and towns where research labs are becuase economies are built up around them.

They are all over america (not just in washington

empirical evidence of price increases, an outgrowth of the Trump 2.0 tariff, in Costco.

i had been buying these frozen mango chunks from Costco, imported from Mexico, 5 lbs for $9.49, from Costco.

since Trump 2.0's tariff announcement, Coscto no long carry this Mexican import; instead, it is selling Calif-based [IMG], 5 lbs for $10.99,
which translated to an increase of 15.8%

Nope it's an indicator of an "economy being mismanaged"

Btw Larry has spent the last 2.5 years making wrong predictions about inflation & unemployment, but I think he's right on this one.
