I barely remember jack from literature/English classes, but this one will stick in my mind forever. It's one of my favorite poems. But then considering I just said I barely remember jack from literature/English classes, that may not be saying much. But still ...
Civ VII won't be released until February 2025, so you can always buy one of the other ones. Most casual players tend to gravitate towards Civ 4-6 if you want to try one of those sooner.
Steam has Civ VI for a huge reduction in price if you want to buy it. It's $5.99. lol. Sale ends Sept. 2. They also have the Anthology Bundle for $10.92. Also have various DLC's discounted.
Anyone thinking of getting Diablo IV at a discounted price, Steam has it for $29.99 until September 2. I hear it's been patched and plays better now than at the release, but haven't been following it too closely. At this price and the recent reviews, I'm contemplating finally buying and playing it once I finish BG3.
Isn't it like Diablo Immortal? From the reviews a long long time ago, it was an infinite hamster wheel where you never felt crazy powerful or weak. It just kept you playing but without the joy of loot that would keep you for months.
Well, it's out - any of you buy it yet? It's getting "mixed" reviews on Steam, but some of that is probably people that expect it to play like old school Civ and don't like the changes. I'll probably wait until it's on sale (if it ever goes on sale in the next few months. lol). I feel disgusted about paying $70 for the base game and $100 for the deluxe version. I won't even mention the $130 "Founders Edition". Wth. These game companies are about to make me go back to enjoying playing marbles with these prices.
Did not buy yet. Apparently the big issues are the UI and multiplayer modes. Firaxis said they were working on both. I probably won’t buy until it’s been out for a while, sort of like buying a new model car. I want the bugs worked out. $100+ special edition games aren’t anything new.
I honestly don't remember which civ it was, but I was in college, staying up til 5am every night, living off 4hrs of sleep per day, main-lining coffee, playing civ (and mostly sucking tbh). It was great.
