woke people claim they hate Elon but would be riding around on donkeys like Hamas and use exploding pagers like Hezbolah @basso
In all for Chicom global hegemonic takeover as a fellow Maoist but you dawg? You a libertarian American living God fearing capitalist? I'm surprised. I thought you were in support of American empire. You think going all hard power storm trooper is more cost effective in maintaining global hegomony? Aren't your buddies going to pissed that its going to cost more to extract resources and labor from these poorer countries? I thought they were all about efficiency?
As a Chicom Maoist I don't understand your desire to join our side and upend American empire by elimination American toolkits for soft power like USAID that allows you to maximize your return on investment from wealth, resources and labor extraction of less powerful countries. But maybe I missed a drastic ideological shift or an entire paradigm shift in how you see the world from you?
Unless you believe it will be replaced by privatization where USAID is replaced by private entities like Palantir which then I understand and that makes sense with your ideological through line. Do you have any investments in Palantir?
You have gone off the deep end brother - but I support your right to express your opinions. I really am not looking forward to the possibility of being in an oligarchy where a small group of ultra wealthy have no checks and balances and control everything but that is the worst-case scenario with all of this --- but maybe it won't be this bad.
The most ironic thing about a bunch of capital owners b****ing about government lack of cost efficiency... The largest factor in inflated costs within the federal government is almost purely a product of the private sector receiving contracts to do work for the public. Maybe we need to eliminate the concept of private contracts. If the government feels the need to build more houses because of a homeless issue, hire construction workers to be employees of the federal government. Have the people in charge be administrative salaried employees instead of of executives trying to maximize their return on investment. A clutch plate replacement costing 9000 dollars per unit to replace when it costs 50 bucks to manufacturer is a purely a product of the private public relationship in government. Eliminate the private sector from the government. You are seeing this also with Medicare Advantage. I just solved government efficiency. You're welcome.
I don’t think I’m off the Deep end. I make more than the average senator/congressman. Yet they somehow always end up multi millionaires in the end. It’s time they had their reckoning.
Of course you don't think you are off the deep end, or you would take a step back. I appreciate that you will have civil discourse on the top when others will not. Senators and congressmen often do end up making a lot of money --- some have a lot of money before hand and others use their relationships to make money when they get out of office. Which is why lobbying should be severely curtailed and stock ownership, etc. However - I don't see how you can in turn support billionaires that have huge levels of entanglements running the government.
"We need to take monied corrupt interests out of politics. That is why I want the world's wealthiest man backed by his other fellow wealthiest men to rummage through the federal government and privatize everything. This will make government less corrupt" Every right wing fascist takeover utilizes the "we are fighting corruption" angle to convince the working class they are on their side. Every single one in modern world history. Fascist takeovers don't occur I healthy societies. Every fascist takeover takes advantage of the fact that their respective degrading nation is absolutely corrupt. So when fascists scream about a liberal government like Weimar or the modern neo liberal orthodoxy in the West being corrupt, they are saying things the working class population agrees with. But the concept of fascists fighting corruption is just a insincere talking point.
This is what I've found interesting about everyone all of a sudden interested in how USAID spends money. It hasn't been Elon reporting on the misspending. It just randos on twitter googling USAID documents and reporting what they find. This could have been brought to light years ago if enough people cared.
Another quality Commodore post. Guess since ATW is gone now, you've gotta pick up the slack of being a ****ing moron.
That's fair. If for some reason a leftist president gets elected you will be fine with and executive order of forced private asset forfeiture for anyone who has more than 10 million dollars in net worth and use those assets for state interests based on democracy.
