Come on mate, you win some you lose some. This game has "loss" written all over it, let's just say that we give Mavs a win for trading Luka.

 

We are missing our starting pf aka Thaddeus young.

 

You can build a offense around Green Alpi pnr with Sengun short rolling and making quick decisions on elite wing finishers cutting with Amen and Cam.

With Green gravity, Sengun occupying the short roll space can make really good decisions going 4 on 3 essentially with two defenders staying back with Green.

You can generate a consistent offense through this I think.

 

Yeah that's a good call. The last time he faced 2 All-NBA defenders in Allen/Mobley he embarrassed them and had them sitting on the bench in foul trouble all game.

He was the best defender on Porzingis w/out ever guarding him simply b/c every time he posted up Porzingis it was an auto-foul and Porzingis went to sit the bench.

Last game against the Nets he got 4 fouls on them in the first 3 mins of the 4th to essentially hand that game to us via the line as we lost.

This game, despite playing substantially below his standards, he got 3 fouls on Gafford so AD is forced to guard him.

And look at that, an indisputable All-NBA defender in the conversation for DPOY stops Alpi and you think Alpi's trash. Game threat gonna game thread but that's just trash fandom.

 

Eason just doesnt feel like a starter to me.

He seemingly always underperforms when starting and overperforms when coming off the bench.

the Rockets being this reliant on FVV is scary because Fred isn’t even that good

Stone seriously has to address this in the offseason because Fred isn’t a long-term answer and is someone who will age horribly

 

Ok to be fair Sengun only struggles vs more athlethic bigger players. Only 5-10 teams in the league have these kinds of players so Sengun is not useless against the majority of the league hence his numbers. He just needs to learn how to finesse against bigger guys and he is still a good player.

He can work with Dream during the off season.

 

Yeah, you should hear the gleeping from the TV crew. It's disgusting but well deserved because they are clowning the Rockets.

 

the guards need to learn to set screens for each other. no movement for the perimeter game.

We got tons of young talent... our staff works w these guys continuously... they gotta know who has real potential - and who's maybe a headcase or attitude problem or doesnt have the dedication - but still have value based on recent draft position... u package 1 or 2 of those guys, maybe a projected late frp, some filler - and go get me somebody that can help us.

 

I know the MAVS FAN are protesting outside…who cares…we need to kick their ass so the fans burns the place down…those dumb MAVS FANS will do it

I remember all the Tari > Bari talk and that's looking silly to me right now.

Bari is better on BBIQ alone, Bari rarely takes dumb *** shots like Tari does regularly at the very least.

Tari's defense is not elite right now, not sure whats up with all of our defenders lately letting random dudes dribble right past them.

 

Something is off with the team and it looks like the mentality. They lost confidence on the team play. I guess these are Amen's growing pains on the team. He shuttered the not very well defined hierarchy in the team. They need to figure out how to make this work. Clouded this boy's future is.

 

Green has not given me any signs he can run the pnr offense. FVV was the only one who could consistently do it and find the right man with his passing.
