I mean… it’s just the first game. I think they’ll improve a lot. I don’t know if they’ll be great, but they’ll definitely be better.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the Spurs don’t make Wemby the focal point…..at least not like how Kobe, LeBron, or Harden were for their teams.

I’ve been watching quite a few games, and from a viewing perspective, his usage rate doesn’t seem that high when he’s actually on the floor. It feels like his length and skill are being wasted because, 9 times out of 10, I feel like Wemby would be either knocking down his shots or getting fouled if the offense was going through him.

There are moments where I’m thinking, wait, if Wemby did this, they’d get easy points, but instead, other Spurs players seem more focused on getting their own shots instead of using the cheat code they have in him.

Maybe I’m onto something….. or maybe not. But I really think Wemby and the Spurs would be a lot better right now if his teammates fully leaned into the advantage he gives them.

Maybe they are managing his load at this point in his career.

I've watched both games with Fox and it sure seems like the Spurs are getting every call their way. NBA pushing them into the playoffs.

Yep, no doubt. They will push for Rockets to be in the play-in.

Looking at his stats, Fox is a terrible defender jeez. That won’t help the Spurs and the fact he will take shots out of Wemby’s hands.

We should have been aggressive to trade for Fox.

They lit up one of the worst teams ever assembled.

I’m not sure Fox’s impact on the cap is worth it, especially If you don’t have Wemby in place.

Holding judgement for when we get our two starters back with Amen starting.

Huh? Hawks are pretty decent especially defensively. In front court they have Capela/Okunwu and on the wings they have good wing defenders like Daniels, Levert and Risacher.

Hawks are pretty plucky team they have beaten Knicks and Celtics.

I know it takes time but Spurs Bern looking lethargic in stretches since the trade.. I expected a faster pace with Pop gone .. Spurs look to be stuck in their ways

I think once CP3’s role gets finished and he either gets traded or signs somewhere else, the Spurs will be fast. Fox and Wemby will be an interesting duo.
