LOL. All losses. If you want to argue that Amen has the potential to be a Westbrook-level stat padder on a mediocre team, I will certainly buy that.
Rockets arent serious contenders this year anyways. Sure, see if he has anything that could help the team. **** it.
Rockets need another guy who is a good willing passer. As a team we are terrible at passing and moving the ball to the open man. Dead last in assists per game. If Simmons can rub off on these tunnel vision players and get them to realize a pass is a good thing we'll be better off. Id actually like to see him and Reed play together some.
Shrug. He can have whatever mentality he wants as long as he doesn't create locker room problems and gives us productive minutes If he had a killer Ant Edwards mindset and a jump shot, he wouldn't be available on the buyout market. Rox put themselves in a "beggars can't be choosers" spot by not making a trade for more rotation depth at the deadline.
Honestly he'd be the second most competent ball handler on the team behind FVV. If he comes for the vet minimum, he could make the team better. Spacing is an issue, but it's better than having Tate or Holiday on the court.
Rockets chose not to do a little maintenance on the house and now y’all want them to act like they’re homeless and get to begging on the street offering to wash windows at the light
Maybe I'm just feeling a little desperate because they're playing pretty homeless the last five games
You know things are bad when we’re looking for our next Michael Beasley / Kenneth Faried to come save the day.
You both are responding out of context imo. My reply was to the statement that Amen isn't on Ben Simmons' level. Amen, a switchblade who gets asked to step in 45 games into the season on a team that famously can't shoot drops 7.8 apg. Ben Simmons, crowned PG from day 1 is career apg is 7.4. As far as responding to your posts, Kevo I'm not going to disagree he's got to develop handle and above the break range. But as far as creating, he's doing that and not just off hustle and luck. Hustle and luck might get you 2 a game. 7+ is skills. He's got to develop. Let him develop. End of game woes aren't coming down to Amen's lack of development or not. ipaman, you would waste Amen's talent to get Ben Simmons? Literally Ben Simmons? When Amen could be every bit of that and more? That's crazy talk bro, for real. You'd castrate Amen's development to get actually Ben Simmons. Wild. When Amen is like almost literally providing exactly what Ben Simmons would, except Amen wants to improve and be great at basketball instead of wearing bizarre fits and making instagram posts or whatever. This take is yikestown, population you.
Curious if we are looking into him as a future FVV replacement if FVV expects too much. If talks are stalling on an extension, sign Simmons at $17 a year for 3 years and don't pick up FVV option?
