Do you know US aid was spent on text book curriculums that attached math problems with concepts of jihad to radicalize young middle Eastern men to fight communism decades ago?

We literally taught middle Eastern kids about the amazing wonders of violent jihad through tax payer money.

I think if you were being a reasonable and not a cheerleader you'd realize this is just another example of the Trump administration believing that you can remove the carrot and just go full throat bully.

The entire goal of all this is to strong arm foreign countries without any pretense of "being nice". A show of force I would say. "Lol you think we need to convince you with soft power to do our bidding."

You're right. It's less than 1% of our budget. ...that's because our budget is $6.75 trillion. So, yeah, resolving a few billion dollars is not a large percentage of our budget... but it's still billions of dollars. That's NOT a dog and pony show.

The meaning of "Billions of dollars" has different meaning based on whether that money is in reference to servicing 300 million people vs 1 person.
